Don't they? I imagine there's a hitbox for the head to account for incoming strikes, and it's the "camera" for the game, so couldn't they just add collision and damage output for the hitbox?

In videogames you don't necessarily need a textured mod for /everything/
If there's a node with a hitbox programmed on already (which I'd assume there is) that's already halfway there. If you can GET HIT in the head, it's not unfeasible to be able to HIT WITH the head.
