When unholding a structure, charge doesn't register it as a rupture of the hold, so if you hold a ball, then use the charge on another structure (thus losing the charge), you cant unhold-hold the ball in order to regain the charge. You have to use a hit modifier on the ball in order to actually break the hold, and only then can you re-hold it to regain the charge.
Why this is an issue:
- hit modifiers necessarily move the structure, so in order to re-hold it you have to either do a stomp (which doesn't move it too much), or flick the structure so that it comes back in range of the hold. It makes re-using the ball more tedious than it should be.
- when unholding a structure, there are no indicators that it is still "attached" to the charge. It looks the exact same as other structures, and holding it does produce charge particles, but no "ding" at the end. This visual incoherence makes it feel buggy and not intentional.
I'm pretty sure this whole thing derives from the charge battery bug, and even though I do love unholding and keeping the charge, the drawbacks are that it makes the game's mechanics less consistent. So... Maybe fix the charge battery XD
