I think since this game takes a lot of skill perhaps you guys could host paid tournaments in the future. Before you say the game is too small hear me out, I'd say start small like first place 10$ second place 5 dollars and like 3$ for third. This is just an example but doing this could also bring more people to the game and also encourage more people to wanna train harder etc. again just a suggestion but I feel like this be a good thing to do!

the community already does!
Wait really? Where do they host it?
MMT and MMT2 have paid prize pools IIRC
BoC also had prizes
I'm not a huge fan of prizes for tournaments ngl, once it gets large enough for people to actually live off of it, it becomes a lot more competitive and sad
But small prizes are nice
bivn already does rumble like it's his job istg in 2 years people are gonna have like 10k hours on this game
but yeah i agree
there was also honeycomb havoc hosted by rumblebee
mm2 does not have a prize
😭
fine then
i'll pay the winner of MMT2 $20 and you can't stop me >:3
the only precident is BoC 🙏
i remember something from the recent Shoeless movie about a $5 prize pool? might be wrong tho
idk
should mm2 have prizes.....? i swear like the point of it wasn't to be that competative
but idk
might be reading wrong
yeah lachlan literally said no because it isnt fair enough
yeah thought so
Pretty sure it did. We'd hear a lot more about it if it didn't. Just kept hush for spoiler reasons.
That feels kind of bad logic
That wasn't
"We're not hearing about it more therefore it must be paid out already"
That's "I'm pretty sure it was paid out because I heard about it from somebody. And also we'd be hearing a lot more about it"
I'm pretty sure Thom told me at some point he's just stuck in editing burnout
Mm fair
BoC had about $600 in prize pools
