just about finished the shell script and instructions for install of other services required for dash

just got home

its just a simple shell script that downloads the node exporters, you add information to promethues.yaml start services and away you go

no, you can just add any dash.json

Its not 100% but there is all the stuff there required to get it going, i need more time to finish it.

I believe with some extra time i can make it auto configure most of it and all you will need to do is accept and maybe edit a few queries to suit your system metrics

No pressure was a genuine Q. Its definitely beyond me to setup tge alerts as none of it is in a language that exists on earth. Grafana is beyond me apart from looking at it

I still have to finish the install havent had time yet!

So far the setup.sh can download and cleanup all required applications.

All you gotta do is add to prometheus.yml which i have a copy in the github rep

Start services connect prometheus to grafana if havent done and import dash and all should be connected

Just might need to modify the queries to suit your system

Yeah i have all setup now with another dash but no alerts for stuff. Only need to know if peers vanish or cpu temp gets high important stuff. I tried to look at it but man its next level. I'll have an attempt to modify them i just wish ot was all human readable 😄

When is it ever simple, ill look at it for low peers and high temp when i get time if you dont get around to it 🙂

Figured also depending on what grafana version you are running depends on the configuration and it can ruin dashboards you input as it makes it invalid

I'm using the latest version 9.+, and the telegram alert is broken. I think Grafana is not supported. Any simple and easy way to setup an alert rule?

I tried to work around it but was not able to get it done, and searching Google did not yield a direct tutorial. I think I have no choice but to put it aside first. Hopefully someone can get it done . 😆

I think grafana version 9.x . Simple alert to notify the validator that it is running. Alerts can be sent via email, telegram, or text message.
