this is a backline that is very untested, stanisic and mazroui have only played the minute equivalent of 8 games so far this season. Pavard is playing in his preferred CB position but the pavard-upa cb partnership is new.

IF we drop points this game, we could quickly get in danger as next we play barca away, who were the better team in munich, we were lucky to get the three points. IF we lose in barcelona, then that could force us to have to win/draw in our final game against Inter, a position no one here would want to be in and would again criticize nagelsmann for.

if considering all this you still think its intelligent to play inexperienced, hard to fit in players like tel and gravenberch then thats your choice but dont paint it as an obvious choice or that you somehow see more than nagelsmann, who spends all waking hours thinking about this team.
