having no fans at the stadium must be really having a huge impact for Greece because those Ultras go Hardfuckingcore
In a postponed game, Levski won 1:0 against Lokomotiv Plovdiv
massive win for Levski, a very thight game with barely any chances but after all, a win is a win
COME OOOON
AE Larissa 0-3 Aris. 'The god of war' played amazing football against the 'purple horse' amd took 3 very important points to the race for a european place. In the beginning Ael started with a higher lane and tried to score first but Kosti, Durmisaj and Trujic all missed their chsnxes. Later on in the first half Manos scored a bullet header to put Aris in front. Aris pressed for the sucker punch and got it from Manos again in the second half! Last but not least Xande Silva,on loan from West Ham scored a crazy goal in the 91' to seal a victory for the Thessaloniki club.
Aris hasnt lost any points away from home this season and they havent conceded either
The Salonika club is second with 22 points after 9 games, whil Larissa has 6 points after 9 games and is in 12th position
After the game chaos happened once more. Ae Larissa president, Alexis Kougias questioned the referees of their decisions and verbally abused them. Aris representative Niarchakos talked to Kougias and asked him to calm down. Kougias lost it and tried to push Niarchakos (Almost 1 feet taller than Kougias), which lead to Kougias ripping off Niarchakos's suit
Nice
Niarchakos then calmly asked Kougias of the reason and then Kougias spitted on him! After the game Kougias put out a statement asking Aris of their relationship with the referees and said that Niarchakos assulted him
Bruh
Aris posted a picture of Niarchakos suit and called Kougias a liar
Niarchakos suit, ripped off as u can see
Tf
Damn
Yh
A normal Day in greece
Just like that time the paok president came with a gun on the pitch
'Uganda of Europe' as stated by American actor Harry Clyn
I havent seen him play that much tbf but Aris fans seen happy
To think that Last season they only had 1 full back and now they have like 3 is an upgrade on itself😂
Gotta love Greek football
Oh
How has Filip fallen
Once a beast at Dinamo
He was very promising
Went to Hajduk Split
Then his career died
Yeah even their own fans call them 'The Balkan army of flops' cause they have serbians, romanians, bosnians and slovenian who are shit
But this is for the Last 3 seasons
Its not common
I mean they have been shit for a long time but Larissa fans are saying away from games (before Covid) the Last three years cause they have been playing shit and they ask Kougias to sell
Yeah he is good, scored twice i think
Is randjelovic good
Ae Larissa is shit in Last 3 seasons
Yes
Yeah but he needs to improve
Just realised Gabi Torje is playing in Greece
He even broke quarantine rules to go to an illegall party and got arrested
How has he even ended up there?
Damn
In Ael?
Yeah
I have heard good things about him
I mean
Wasnt he in Steaua?
He can be good
I remember his name in a bigger club
Oh Almost
Anyway Ae Larissa is on my top 4 to get relegated
Even though i want them to stay cause of history and that
Oof
They are one of the only 7 clubs ti EVER win the league
We also have many historically good teams in the 2nd tier
Or even 3rd
Rapid
Petrolul
Pandurii
Vaslui
And I could go on and on
Otelul Galati, which won the league like 10 yrs ago
Yeah 6 out of 7 clubs that have won the league are in the first tier here in Greece but Ethinkos is in the 4th tier and has 2 leagues smh
I remember them
In 11/12 ucl
And Unirea Urziceni, won the league in '09 and now they are not a club anymore
With united, basel and benfica
0 pts
Sad
Last time a romanian team was close to Ro16 was 8 years ago
CFR finishing 3rd
With 10 pts
Damn cluj
Lost on H2H to Galata
Kapetanos back then
He was shit in Greece National team and at Xanthi in the next year

Lucescu changed greek football history
By winning three cups with Paok and one league after Almost 30 years
He was unbeaten with Paok from March 2018 to May 2019 and PAOK remained unbeaten until January 2020
Oh it was Aris who ended their run?
Only in a movie could this happen
You almost go 2 years undefeated
Then boom, your local rivals defeat you
Olympiakos was also unbeaten from February 2019 to July 2020
Then you lose against your other rivals
And lost to Paok in the panultimate game 0-1

Crazy runs by both clubs
Indeed
BREAKING NEWS : AE LARISSA are creating a coupe to push today's game referees to not being selected again in their games
Greek Federation will invastigate possible talks between Aris and the Refs
Little Do they know that the ref is Actually a PAOK fan lmao

Fr tho
Kougias is the worst president ever
Made Pas get relegated in 2009, Made Panachaiki relegated in mid 2000's and made Ael be the worst team to watch Since they were promoted in 2016
I mean when your best player is Gabi Torje then you must be badly run
Torje is washed-up
Yet still

He is 3rd or 4th captain
I Respect the guy
He is powerfull and a good character
And when i had been to the Olympiakos 2-1 PAOK game in 2016
He scored twice, once for PAOK once for Olympiakos

Ayy, I predicted that Igor will win manager of the month
They've fallen back down to earth 😁
Not looking good for Mechelen already. I would honesty love it if they went down
Why
The match fixing scandal from 2017-18 that they were not properly punished for
Is Rose joining as well?
i dont think so if dragovic comes
if we sell degenek maybe

If Crvena Zvezda needs a decent quality lb that can stay with the club, my bet is Devetak

Serbian
Well both AEK and PAOK lost yesterday and now they can not qualify to the europa league round of 32
which is very sad
AEK has not won at home in any european group stage game since 2010
and PAOK has not been in Europe come February since 2017
very sad time to be a Greek football fan
Greece is also falling in coefficient rankings . We were 7th best league in 2010, 5th best league in 2003 and now we are 17th and we can drop all the way down to 21st
Greek football is on a free fall
And not only that Albania is going to host the 2022 UEFA EUROPA CONFERENCE LEAGUE final , when the only other candidates were 2 Greek stadiums, AEK's new stadium OPAP Agia Sofia and Ergotelis's Pankritio stadium
Also what is more sad is the fact that no other team than Olympiakos has won 2 games in a Europa league group stage since 2016
But its not a surprise since the president of each Greek club is always putting up statements about referees and opponents and never on themselves. The toxicity begins by the presidents and through to the press and through to the mases and through to the players sometime... Greek football is DEAD , except modern football knowledge and strategic is put out in every team . Every team has to grow their own players and not buy veterans and 30 years old from across Europe . Olympiakos has only got 3 or 4 starting eleven players that are Greek : 37 year old Holebas , Fortounis , Bouchalakis and Masouras . PAOK only starts Giannoulis and Tzolis who is an amazing talent and sometimes Michailidis also a very good talent . Thats very bad for the two best academies in Greece
Aris , 2nd , only starts one Greek , Manos who is their only striker
This big use of foreigners means that the national team pool is also shortened within the Greek superleague
As long as Presidents do not invest in academies and young players the football of the national team will always be bad . As long as presidents focus on toxicity and how to destroy the opposing team by making lawsuits etc the fans will abstain and the footballing product will not be better
In my knowledge this is how football should not work and thankfully two teams , OFI and PAS Giannena even though not having the best academies in Greece , even in their area, are promoting young Greek talent and are focusing solely in Football and never in referees and toxicity
OFI is doing so since an American bought them and PAS is doing so since they have been relegated in 2018.Another interesting case in the first tier is Panetolikos who is the only greek team to never have a loanee from a Greek team!!! And is part-owned by Benfica and invests in their academies and Portugal's lower league players
Those 3 teams plus Asteras Tripoli in recent years have no toxicity
Hope everyone was like them
Sorry for this rant but it was needed to cool me off after yesterday's results

Olympiakos 4-1 Volos 2017. The game started bad for Olympiakos as Drager was subtitutted after picking up a lmock in the 3rd minute. Volos hit the bar in the 8'.Ba gave away a penalty in the 10',for Barrietnos to score nd give the lead to Volos. Later in the half, 44' to be precise, Olympiakos equalised with a Masouras header. In the second half both teams went at it and had chances until El Arabi turn the game on its head with a nice goal after a Fortounis pass. El arabi scored again in the 77' after an amazing through Ball. Last but not least, Thiago Silva marked his debut with the asist of the 3rd Youssef El Arabi goal in the 92'
Very nice game with a lot of opportunites

Ekstraklasa of the day 05.12.2020
First off today we had a match between Jagiellonia and Warta Poznań. While Warta are doing surprisingly well and sitting midtable despite having arguably the worst squad in the league, it was Bogdan Zając's team who appeared as the favourites here. Jagiellonia have started poorly but recently had a run of good results (except that loss to Stal last weekend) and looked to extend it, but unfortunately for them after 15 minutes Jaga's defenders have failed miserably in an attempt to catch Warta's top scorer who joined on a free from relegated to 3rd tier Chojniczanka side this window Mateusz Kuzimski offside, who calmly chipped the goalkeeper with a half-volley, despite being tripped by him. Fortunately just 4 minutes later the 2019 Croatian league top scorer Jakov Puljić who recently bagged a hattrick against Wisła Płock equalized, after Jaga's arguably best player Jesus Imaz set him up perfectly for an unmissable tap-in. Jagiellonia then quickly scored a second, this time by Imaz himself, after a Fedor Cernych assist - who deserves massive respect, as this Lithuanian winger's father passed away just 4 hours before the match, and yet he managed to play and note an assist. But Warta wasn't content with that result and pushed for an equalizer, which eventually came in the 37th minute after 28 year old winger Michał Jakóbowski top binned it from a tight angle. And then they proved they should never be disrespected, as Mateusz Kuzimski set up former Legia youngster in the penalty box for a perfect situation to score, and the rightback put in yet another top-bin goal. Coming onto the halftime, Warta had just to park the bus and deliver this result until the final whistle, and Bogdan Zając had to motivate this team to finally start performing at least partially as good as they did in 17/18. (0,5/5)
After the half-time break Jagiellonia looked like a better side from the start, like they should. 6 minutes and young rightback Paweł Olszewski already sent in a strong cross into the box which was tapped it from approximately 2 meters by yet again Jakov Puljić. Jagiellonia had multiple chances with Imaz hitting the post and Puljić missing a sitter, and it looked to end in a draw. Unfortunately for the away team though, in the first minute of added time Puljić was evidently tripped in the penalty box by young defender Aleksander Ławniczak and the referee Zbigniew Dobrynin had no other choice than to award the spot kick to Jagiellonia. The Croatian striker not only was on a hattrick but also fought up the pen himself so he was the natural candidate to take it, and he didn't let his team down, as he scored his 8th goal of the season, completed his second hattrick in the last 15 days and won all three points for his team. With this result Warta's midtable position didn't change, but Jagiellonia jumped to 6th place, being only one win short of top 3. (1/5)
Second match today was league leaders Raków traveling to Wrocław to combat with Vitezslav Lavicka's Śląsk, who are the most consistent top 3 contenders so far this season along with Górnik and Zagłębie. Raków lost only once this season so far, in the first matchday they conceded 2 and scored only one in Warsaw, so despite theoretically it being an even match the favourites were rather Raków. Their team is in great form this season so it was hard to exploit, but Śląsk more or less deliberately made use of their only weakness - the goalie. They've been shooting from various positions throughout the match, until one powerful albeit not too precise shot from Pawłowski in the 1st minute flew straight at Jakub Szumski - who must have mistaken the sport he's playing, as he attempted a volleyball-style forearm pass. He reached the ball, shame that it bounced off his hands and flew straight into the goal. After that laughable mistake no more goals could be seen at the Wrocław City Ground and Raków suffered their second loss of the season, launching Śląsk to the third place and risking losing the first place in a case of a Legia win. (2/5)
Third match was certainly the most enjoyable for me as a Legia supporter, as my team took on Lechia Danzig home. Lechia's last two matches were losses, of which the last one to Lech 1-0 after an Ishak penalty goal. Legia were the clear favourites, as even if coach Michniewicz is still working on adjusting the players to his preferred playstyle, we managed to win the important games when it mattered, except the draw vs Piast last week. First half was goalless and pretty boring, with the only notable highlight was Kenny Saief turning from an average left winger to prime Maldini and stopping nearly every Legia counterattack and not giving former Lechia leftback Filip Mladenović any space. The second half finally saw a breakthrough, when Luquinhas proved that he's one of the most technically skilled players in the league and after dribbling past 3 Lechia players crossed it to target-man Tomas Pekhart, who scored a powerful header that Dusan Kuciak (notabene former Legia man) was unable to save. This was the Czech forward's 10th goal of the season making it the fourth season in his career where he hit double figures (fun fact: 7 of these goals were headed). Lechia continued to play brutally and it certainly didn't pay off as all they had was one dangerous chance that was easily saved by veteran goalie Artur Boruc who should be recognizable for every SPFL, Premier League and Serie A fan, and then resulted in a straight red card for 21 year old midfielder Tomasz Makowski after he stomped on former Leicester winger Bartosz Kapustka's leg. In the end, Lechia's defence absolutely broke down and Legia's young holding midfielder Bartosz Slisz bought for approximately 2 million euros from Zagłębie Lubin in winter 2020 took advantage of it taking a not too powerful shot from outside the box, which was awfully parried by Kuciak and fell straight under Rafa Lopes's legs, who made it 2. This result saw Lechia still remain 8th and launched the capital team to the first place. (3/5)
Now a brief look at Poland's second tier. Former leaders ŁKS Łódź suffered 3 consecutive defeats (!) and had their coach Wojciech Stawowy get sent off for insulting a referee in the last 10 days, of which the third one being to their direct promotion rivals Termalica Bruk-Bet Nieciecza, who are on trail to make their comeback to Ekstraklasa now as the millionaire-owned club from a town of 700 people is sitting first in the league with 4 points over second ŁKS with a game in hand. Things started to look shaky for ŁKS, who will have just one point advantage over 3rd place Górnik Łęczna if the latter win their Sunday game, while a few matchdays ago the advantage was 14 points. Meanwhile Sandecja Nowy Sącz finally started to fight to avoid relegation and, despite still being last, picked up 6 points in their last 3 games all with teams from the upper half and now are only two points behind Resovia Rzeszów. What's also notable is that Arka Gdynia and Radomiak Radom finally launched back into the playoff zone. The rest remained fairly unchanged. (4/5)
League table. (5/5)
ALSO bonus review! Yesterday one of the most fierce rivalries in Poland took place, when Wisła Kraków took on Cracovia, their main city rivals. Wisła had just changed their manager to german Peter Hyballa and already showed him a real challenge, as a derby win is super prestigious. In the 61st minute the referee Marek Stepański blew the whistle on a very controversial penalty decision when Felicio Brown Forbes fell down when there was almost 0 contact and certainly not enough to bring him down. He awarded a spot kick that was put in by the Costa Rican, and of course such mistake in a derby couldn't be left unnoticed. Here's what shouts towards the ref were overheard in the stadium:
"You fucking clown, you fucking r*tard!" - polish parliament member, Cracovia fan who was sitting in the stands.
"Stefański! You piece of shit! Watch the VAR replay again!" - Cracovia vice president Jakub Tabisz.
"Stefański! You're a cunt!" - professor Janusz Filipiak, businessman, Cracovia owner, one of the richest people in the country.
"Stefański! What the fuck are you doing? Is your wife a Wisła fan?" - anonymous voice from the VIP lounge.
"Fuck you!" - Andrea Hanca, Cracovia captain's wife.
And that's not all. After the match, Cracovia filled an official complaint to the polish FA accusing them of incompetency in choosing referees for games, saying that Stefański's wife is a Wisła fan...putting a satirical Twitter comment of a Jagiellonia fan as a source. Yes, you heard it right. Absolute banter behaviour but it reflects the state of polish football pretty well. The match finally ended 1-1, as Cracovia's Pelle Van Amersfoort grabbed a late equalizer with a powerful header. The Twitter war is still going on.
What do you think about Belgium and Netherlands trying to merge their football league
terrible idea
this is gonna happen only when the european super league becomes a thing, it's a concept only created to earn more money
if that happenes then why not merge K League and J League, Ukrainian league and Belarussian league, Kazakhstani league and Azeri league, all the Yugo countries' leagues into one, and Swiss RSL with Austrian Bundesliga?
Anyone here watch league of Ireland
Me obviously

Maul's Liga 1 of the Day Vol 12: 4,5,6 and 7 December 2020
First up, we have the "Derby" of Ilfov, FC Voluntari vs Academica Clinceni. Voluntari came off a 6-0 defeat in the cup against Gaz Metan Mediaş and Clinceni last lost 2-1 in the cup against 2nd tier squad Farul Constanţa. I should also note the fact that Voluntari has most of their starters out because of CoVid. First chance of the game came in the 3rd minute when Georgi Pashov put it on the plate for 16 year old David Morar but the youngster missed a sitter for the 2nd time this season. 7 minutes later, former Novara man Andrei Cordea put in a nice cross and Amir Bilali was there to head it in. In the 14th minute, another corner for Clinceni, Petrişor Petrescu took it and found the man, the myth, the legend, Eugeniu Cebotaru which also scored a header. In the 24th minute, Voluntari were awarded a penalty when Bilali allegedly fouled Alexandru Stoica inside the box and Ion Gheorghe didn't miss making it 2-1. Then, 7 minutes later, the same Alexandru Stoica became the biggest coward in the whole world. Dived like a cheat and cried like a little girl. Then, the ref believed the coward and Voluntari were awarded another penalty, this one too "given away" by Bilali. The f-ing state of our refs. Cosmin Achim converted the pen, equalising the game. The game went quiet til the 89th minute, when the Moldovan Iniesta, Eugeniu Cebotaru, picked out an unmarked Raul Rusescu with his pass, which chipped the keeper Mihai Cotolan beautifully. The game was thought to be over but it wasn't, Ion Gheorghe cut inside in the dying moments and scored his second, the ball being deflected on its way in. Clinceni remained 5th meanwhile Voluntari climbed up to 9th.
The other game on Friday involved two teams at the bottom of the table, FC Argeş and Dinamo Bucureşti. Argeş were coming off a 1-0 defeat in the cup against Viitorul Pandurii Târgu Jiu meanwhile Dinamo last won 3-0 in the cup against Viitorul Constanţa. That game against Viitorul Constanţa was Cosmin Contra's last game as Dinamo manager, resigning after not being paid after 100 days of work. Not only Contra left, but also Borja Valle and another spaniard left because of the same reason. Juan Camara won a free kick at the middle of the pitch in the 7th minute and without thinking too much, he scored a beauty from there (a distance of about 50 m), lobbing George Micle. Dinamo's left back, Andrei Radu, got sent off in the 58th minute after picking up a second yellow card. In the first minute of stoppage time, FC Argeş should have been awarded a penalty when Ricardo Grigore fell onto Stephan Drăghici which was in a great position to score inside the box but the ref gave no penalty, who knows the reasoning behind this. Anyway, Argeş's caretaker manager, Augustin Eduard, got sent off for protesting. The game helped Dinamo climb up to 12th meanwhile Argeş would later on fall to the last spot on the table.
🅱️omanian League
First game of Saturday involved Sepsi Sf. Gheorghe and FC Botoşani, Sepsi were coming off a 1-0 defeat against Turris Tg. Măgurele in the cup meanwhile Botoşani won their cup tie against Concordia Chiajna 2-0. First chance of the game came in the 11th minute when former Dundee United man Pavol Şafranko sneaked in past Botoşani's defence and tried to chip Eduard Pap but the keeper was on guard and caught the ball easily. First goal of the game came for Botoşani in the 36th minute when Hamidou Keyta dribbled his way past Sepsi's defence and put it on the plate for Andrei Târcoveanu which scored easily. 2 minutes into the second half, Adnan Aganovic almost scored a banger but Pap made a great save onto his shot. 6 mins later, Keyta again dribbled his way past Sepsi's defence and this time he was the one who scored, making it 2-0 for Botoşani. In the 55th min, CFR Cluj loanee Claudiu Petrila's corner kick found Bogdan Mitrea which pulled one back for Sepsi. The game seemed to finish at the score of 2-1 for Botoşani but Radoslav Dimitrov, ex Botoşani man, scored the equaliser at the death. A shot which Eduard Pap should have easily kept out. This goal caused Botoşani's boss, Marius Croitoru to go mad. I will post the link of his madness afterwards. Anyway, this result meant that Sepsi would remain 4th and that Botoşani would also remain 11th.
Yes
I saw botosani manager mad
I thought he got a heart attack when he fell
Cuz i would
Other game of Saturday involved Steaua Bucureşti and UTA Arad. Steaua didn't play their cup game against Gloria Buzău because the other team had some players with CoVid, meaning Steaua kinda won the game 3-0, their last actual match being a 3-2 win vs Gaz Metan, and UTA came off a 2-0 win vs Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc in the cup. First chance of the game came in the 14th min when Olimpiu Moruţan's free kick hit the crossbar. UTA also hit the post later on in the 32nd min when Andrei Vlad's Adrian "tribute" landed on Ioan Hora's feet, which tried it from a distance and hit the post. Neluţ Roşu got sent off in the 58th minute after picking up a second yellow card, ironically enough, roşu means red in romanian. In the 62nd min, Octavian Popescu took a great shot but it was saved by Florin Iacob. 12 mins later, the same Popescu won a penalty for Steaua, after being fouled inside the box by Erico. Dennis Man converted the penalty, scoring against his former club. Steaua scored again in the 90th minute, Florinel Coman scoring a nice goal on his return from injury, crying meanwhile celebrating due to his grandfather having died in these recent days. 2 minutes later, Darius Olaru scored a bullet header from Octavian Popescu's cross, making it 3-0 for Steaua. This win meant Steaua would keep their 2 pts lead at the top of the table and UTA would remain 6th.
Antrenorul Botoşaniului a răbufnit după ce echipa sa a fost egalată la ultima fază a partidei de la Sfântu Gheorghe. Tehnicianul moldovenilor s-a tăvălit pe jos şi şi-a certat jucătorii.

Vid of Botosani manager going mad
Onto Sunday, first game was supposed to be Viitorul vs Hermannstadt but the game got postponed due to 10 Hermannstadt players getting CoVid. Meanwhile we didn't get to see Mircea Rednic's debut as Viitorul boss after Ruben Barrera got sacked, we got to see Edi Iordănescu's second debut as CFR Cluj manager. A game against Poli Iaşi, played in Iaşi. These 2 teams played each other in the cup last week, Poli Iaşi winning 1-0. After the game, Petrescu resigned. CFR also had a blank draw on Thursday against CSKA Sofia in EL. First chance of the game came in the 7th minute, Ciprian Deac's volley going too high to find the back of the net. He did score 7 minutes later though from a Mario Rondon assist. A nice shot at the low right corner of the goal. Andrei Burcă also had a chance in the 19th minute but his shot went wide. Rondon too had a chance to score in the 33rd minute but his header hit the post. Iaşi also had a great chance in the 63rd minute, but Dzenan Zajmovic decided to not square it to Andrei Cristea which had an open goal, instead he decided to shoot, his shot going a bit wide. An odd decision came in the 76th minute, when the referee didn't allow Alexandru Păun's goal (CFR player) but instead gave a penalty to CFR Cluj which Ciprian Deac converted. This win helped CFR keep the gap between them and Steaua at 6 pts meanwhile Iaşi fell down to 14th place.
Too tired to cover Monday too so I'll be covering it tomorrow
Cya then
Cya
Is this just where Baul writes paragraphs about games?
Yes
hey, don't forget rafa
:thisisfine:
Time to cover Monday's games
First game of Monday involved Astra Giurgiu and Chindia Târgovişte. Astra had the worst start to a season in recent years meanwhile Chindia had a nice start to this season, sitting on 8th place before this game. Both teams are coming off cup wins, Astra won 5-1 away vs Ripensia Timişoara meanwhile Chindia won on penalties against Hermannstadt, the tie finishing 1-1 after 120 minutes. A boring game, with the first real chance coming in the 55th min when Astra striker Mattia Montini's shot went a bit wide. The other chance coming in the last minute of the game when Chindia forward Blaise Yameogo's deflected cross almost found the back of the net. One of the most boring games of the season, a blank draw with only 2 real chances all game. This draw helped Astra climb up to 15th meanwhile Chindia remained 8th.
The other game involved Universitatea Craiova and Gaz Metan Mediaş. Both teams were coming off big wins in the cup, Craiova won 5-0 away vs 3rd tier team Progresul Spartac and Gaz Metan won 6-0 away vs FC Voluntari. Before this match, Craiova seemed to be declining meanwhile Gaz Metan were looking like they were becoming a strong team again. First chance of the game came in the 2nd minute, when Nicuşor Bancu's shot was saved by Alexandru Buzbuchi but the ball went back to Bancu's feet, he squared it to Alexandru Cicâldău which scored with no problems whatsoever. In the 38th minute, Reagy Ofosu cut inside and scored a nice goal, his first goal for Craiova in the league. A goal which, if we had VAR, would have been disallowed. Thanks god we don't have VAR, I don't want those offside calls every week. 5 minutes into the second half, Dumitru Cardoso scored one of the best goals of the season, dribbling his way past like 5 Craiova players including the keeper, Mirko Pigliacelli, and scoring. In the 55th minute, Ivan Mamut almost scored his first goal for Craiova in the league, but his header hit the post. 3 minutes later, Ofosu dribbled past Ionuţ Larie and assisted Cristian Bărbuţ which scored his 2nd goal of the season for Craiova. The win helped Craiova stay 2 points close to Steaua meanwhile Gaz Metan fell down to 10th.
League table
Might cover 3 Liga II games later idk
O
Championship tings

Not a chance
We’re fucked
All of our players are shit
Our manager is shit
We are shit
It’s so shit as well
The fans put in so much for the club and they just spit it out at us
Fradi playing phenomenally
Idk how dynamo usually plays but im not likin it, huge dive from verbic and then him demanding a yellow card for it, idk
@balmy torrent Unlucky mate, move on to the next game.
I predicted 2 scores right so far
hi
Wha
Preston's starting XI against Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough starting XI at Deepdale.
Kickoff at Deepdale.
Preston score 3 out of nowhere.

This needs to be memed so much
OFI has proposed that all first tier teams give 5% of their profits this season to Superleague 2 and Football league teams, as the second and third tier hasnt started yet due to the pandemic. A great proposal from the Cretes that are always progressive since their new american owners bought them in October 2018
Rodos ( a team from Rhodes and the Football league) stated that no help is needed because this is a great opportunity to see who has money out of the 2nd and 3rd tier to sustain a team during the pandemic.
Which side would u be on? I would choose Ofi's
Same
Same
Rodos maybe doesn't need the money but there must be at least 30 clubs between these two league that surely need it
FC Kobenhavn is in 7th...
🙂
If we can stay within about 3 points of Austria we can get 10th too, but that is looking doubtful at best tbh as Austria have multiple teams in the knockouts
Also, I'd Recommend @UEFACalculator on twitter, rather then using Wikipedia. He covers a lot of the stuff to do with the coefficient, as well as the overall table
last season they finished 5th and this season they lost in the 2nd europa league qualifying round
Also Ao Trikala and Panachaiki (2nd tier-Superleague 2) made statements basically agreeing with Rodos and said that they dont want to be viewed as homeless and poor people in need of money
A Greek journalist made an article discussing those statements and gave a possible reason why those 3 teams don't agree with OFI's plan. He said that OFI has made clear in his proposal that out of each club 5% the money given to players will be the 3% and to the clubs 2%. Those clubs want to get the 4% and give the players the 1% , basically keeping the money to themselves and not paying the unpaid footballers, who have not played since 7/3/2020 when the lower leagues stopped last season
The Greek government has made clear that any lower league football matches should not be played until a decision is taken by scientists on the matter , setting 7/1/2021 as a turning point , as they expect to make a new statement about the continuation of the leagues
The 4th tier responded that if football in lower leagues does not start until February the football pyramid will be destroyed and the economy of the lower league teams will be so destroyed that many clubs might bankrupt and start over from the 7th tier next season
Greek Football crisis is once again a thing
yeah out of the last 9 games Greek teams have only won 1 point
horrendous season
Everyone has underpeformed
Everyone expected AEK to finish with 6 or 7 points but they finished with 3, everyone expected PAOK to finish with 10-12 points and they finished with 6 and everyone was expecting Olympiakos to finish with 7-9 points and they finished with 3
very bad year for Greek teams
Even Aris was expected to reach the group stage of UEL and they lost to Kolos Kovavlivka in the first qualifying round
OFI was the underdog against Apollon Limassol so nobody expected sth from them
Yea
Olympiakos NEEDS to get some wins or a draw in UEL 32 cause we want to finish at least 17th in the coefficients
Eh
Hopefully we get PSV they are the worst team
Agreed
Maybe red star vs Olympiacos again ecen tho i doubt both will go through to R16
yeah i feel like the most Olympiacos will go is this or the next round
we need to improve
our full-backs are wank
Imagine 37 years old Jose Holebas and 36 year old Rafinha against Manchester United lmao
we need to buy someone
We may have Ruben Vinagre on loan from Wolves but he has done shit-all this season
You also have defence problems
and he never plays good
We might solve our defence problem
Cisse has be good this season
Nice
Ba had Covid and never been the same since
Oh
Semedo is Semedo , one game he is great the next he is David Luiz
and Avraam is 39 and he never plays so we only have the 3 cb's i said earlier
if u buy Rose?
Why don't you sell him
at 39?
Actually Aleksandar dragovic or rose
Dragovic is good wow
Erm his whole career has been : Aris - Olympiakos -Japan -Australia- back at Olympiakos in 2018
he was from 2007 to 2015 at Olympiakos
so he wants to finish his career here
he is not going to be cheap
so u will need to get the big bucks
Oh
Aris -PAOK this Sunday at 19:30 local time and PAOK-Aris in basketball this Sunday at 16:30 local time
2 Salonika derbies in one day
oh yes 79-81

how the fuck did we came back lol
Let me tell you how
Printezis at the buzzer
Every fucking game red star plays good until ht or maybe until 3rd quarter
And then falls
And loses
Yeah i mean you were better in the first half
thought we will lose by 15 points lol
and then we played amazing in the second half
Yeah
This week has 3 Greek derbies!
Tommorow Aris vs PAOK
Wednesday AEK vs Olympiakos
Next Sunday PAOK vs Panathinaikos
And some minor derbies aswell like Asteras Tripolis vs Atromitos (derby of the stars)
And Ofi vs Aris (6h Last season in Greece vs 5th Last season)
Well that's a kinda fire week
AEK - Olympiakos and PAOK- Pana isn't bad
Damn Atromitos have Bryan Rabello
Sevilla legend
Why was this moved
it's confusing
First game of the day AE Larissa 0-1 OFI
OFI won thanks to an unlucky owngoal from Larissa's Sparv , who tried to get the ball away for a corner but the ball ended up in his own net
OFI was better in the whole of the game, with Larissa not having many clear-cut opportunities whatsoever. A poor performance by the "Purple Horse" who still only has 6 points after 11 games and to be fair they will not get any points next week either against Olympiakos. The Thessaly team is 13th/14 teams and future is looking kinda worrying for them
I'm waiting on their owners statements as he always says something crazy
BREAKING NEWS!! Thodoris Zagorakis , Greece national team captain in 2004 euro triumph,ex-president of PAOK in 2010 and ex-politician of government party New Democracy,is bookies first option for the Greek Football Federation elections in January 2021. Zagorakis has government backing as he was a politician of them and also has PAOK,obviously, backing him. He will also get backing from many North side parties (the Greek Football Federation elections is happening between the 50 professional clubs and the county-elected presidents) as his heritage is from Thessaloniki. Many people claim that he should not be elected as, back in February 2020 he said :"I am so certain that PAOK has never done something illegal in the Xanthi case, that if the club is found guilty i will leave my government position", with president Mitsotakis ousting him from the party the next day.
The other options so far are Grammenos, the federations current president , who is not wanted by the majority of clubs because he has done so little in the last 2-3 years
i know you probably don't care but i found it interesting lol
Panathinaikos won 2-0 against PAS Giannena at their return to Leoforos, their ex-stadium,due to OAKA having ground work, didnt watch the game so i can not tell if it was deserved or not
Big day tomorrow though cause Aris-PAOK time and Olympiakos is away to Lamia who are last with 2 points after 9 games so ez win that
I read all of your messages tbh
I mean if he hadnt said that i would too
But he raised a lot of eyebrows saying that
How can you be a politician in parliament and say that PAOK should not be relegated even though they might have been matchfixing
Cause that was the reason behind the PAOK-Xanthi case that is still going
12 months later lol
siu
siu
who doesnt read them all, bruh
I don’t follow Super Lig much but Malatyaspor seems interesting
They have a few pretty solid players
Imagine not caring about fellow non top 5 Leagues
Ik ik

How can i explain to my Kids that Aitor scored from there and not from there? 😂
He missed the second one
Olympiakos is playing in one hour
i'm actually not hyped at all
we are playing against Lamia who is last with 2 points out of 9 games
and they have the worst stadium in the league ngl
but will still watch it
fun fact my mum is from Lamia but as we live in Athens we have never been at their stadium lol
anyway Lamia is a small team they have been in the firs tier for like 4 years and finished 10th,9th,10th,9th
like fam nobody cares about them
And somehow after 4 years Panathinaikos finally beat them,Pana had 5 draws and 3 defeats against them prior

Is pana ever coming back
Legia assistant manager Marek Saganowski who is also a club legend becomes the new manager of 3rd tier team Motor Lublin
Wow
Olympiakos were amazing today scoring 6 against the team that is rock bottom. 0-1 in the 13' after a header by skipper Bouchalakis, with Semedo passing out for a minute after a class with Lamia's goalkeeper. In 31' M'Vila scored a banger from 25-30 yards out to make it 0-2 and El-Arabi in 32' scored a tap-in to make it 0-3.Olympiakos kept attacking until half time. In the second half El-Arabi, M'Vila off to get some rest. Lamia actually lost a penalnty in the 60' after a silly handball by Randjelovic. Deletic shot and the bar hit the crossbar. In the 81' Saramantas did a handball to gift Olympiakos a penalnty, which Soudani scored go make 0-4. Olympiakos kept going and made it 0-5 with Cuypers first goal for the club in the 82nd minute. The final score was made by Masouras after Androutsos first assist of the season in the 87'. Randjelovic actually had a chance to make it 0-7 in 92' but the ball hit the crossbar
Lamia has 2 points after 10 games and even though they have 23 games to play they are trash and look certain to go down. Olympiakos is first with 28 points after 10 games
The pitch was like a water polo stadium also i might send some images later
Also for anyone that posts on the goal of the week chanell post M'Vila's goal
It was amazing, it might win
@hollow juniper can you send me link
From Yt?
Yes
I mean i have seen better like Camara in 2018, when i was behind the goal he shot from the half way line for no reason and scored
But that is so nice
Against who
Asteras Tripolis
Nice
We ultimately won 2-1 with Natcho scoring in the 95'
Yeah ex PAOK, Rubin Kazan player
Wasn't he also in cswk Moscow
Yes

I just wanted to say
Livai Garcia
Scored for AEK
From Corner
Like straight goal from a corner
Ikr
AEK 4-3 Appolon in a cracking game
Volos 0-0 Panaitolikos
Aris 1-0 PAOK
PAOK was robbed imo
they should have given 2 penalties to them
and the only Aris goal came from a wrong called penalty
and Benalouane of Aris should have gotten a red
but we move
the top six is :Olympiakos 28 points after 10 games , Aris 26 points after 11 games,PAOK 24 points after 11 games, AEK 22 points after 10 games , Panathinaikos 16 points after 12 games , OFI 15 points after 12 games
the top 4 is far away from everyone else
Olympiakos vice-president has made a lawsuit ,ready to be submitted tomorrow saying that PAOK vice-president and PAOK's official lawyer tried to bribe Aris players at Friday to have a worse performance against PAOK. They have been informed,as they say,by loan player of Olympiakos at Aris, Marios Siabanis.
PAOK vice-president will make a counter-lawsuit claiming that Olympiakos called Aris players to inform them that if they won ,which they did, Aris players would be given 1,000,000 by Olympiakos
which is obviously illegal
both of the actions
Aris captain Delizisis ( who plays with one eye since he was 20) said on TV that the bribery story-hearsaying is true but they don't know who bribed them
Aris president , Karipidis said that PAOK is just salty they lost to their eternal enemies and that PAOK has learnt to win by any cost
AE Larissa president and known crazy-man Kougias said in a TV interview about an hour ago that Aris is part of the new-made mafia of football which is AEK's work (even though AEK has nothing to do with the game whatsoever).Kougias also implied that this newly made 'mafia' has targeted AE Larissa in order to get them relegated
Imo Greek Football is full of toxicity rn after all these accusations and TV-threats. Today's comments just cement that and also cement how much us Greeks do not trust each other at all. I don't believe any accusation and as I have always said I will separate myself from any toxicity or accusation made by Olympiakos vice or normal president until its proven in court or CAS
Anyway,PAOK is also shouting about referees decisions today and has said that Mark Cluttenburg ( Greek referee's executive supervisior as UEFA put him to watch and help Greek referees) is part of the new mafia of football that includes AEK-Olympiakos-Aris
Even though these 3 clubs hate each other the same level they hate PAOK
Greek football and toxicity at its finest, what do u think?
Wow
I don't know what to think about this
It might be true who knows
Football is mafia anyway
First goes to UCL 2nd qualifying round
2nd and 3rd go to Uefa europa conference league 2nd qualifier
And the cup winner or 4th goes to the 2nd uefa europa conference league
14th gets relegated and 13 plays an interdivision playoff
in the UEFA coefficient?
i doubt it Milan are better and have a higher chance of going through
but we shall see
I expect Olympiakos to go through it was the best possible draw
Agreed
I was hoping for psv
Isn't cyrpus 15th tho
That funny
Yeah
How are they so high tho
They will fill down
Fall
Apoel isn't doing great
Doubt omonia can carry
APOEL and some other teams were in the Greek league in the 50's and 60's
and 70's
Oh
yeah then Turkey invaded Cyprus and shit went wild
Yes
Btw does a club get anything when drawing in R32
Like would red star get some points if we draw at home
Against milan
yeah Red Star will get 125 points
Oh
Why
Cause the points are :2000 slash the teams that were in Europe by your country when u win and 1000 slash the teams in Europe by your country when u draw
so for Serbia 2000/4 in every win and 1000/4 in every draw
Oh
and for Greece 2000/5 in every win and 1000/4 in every draw
1000/5*
cause we had 5 teams
and u 4
Oh
So red star got 2000 for 2 wins in last 2 years
And Olympiacos 1000 right
Twice
Denmark 14th , Cyprus 15, Serbia 16,Switzerland 17th,Greece 18th,Croatia 19th,Czech 20,Israel 21
No fear from Israel
no the wins are the same as before 2000/4or 5
u get 1000 points only for qualifying on the group stage
I'm dumb
as a bonus
nah its just a little bit complicated
All of those nations could surpass serbia
Except israel
Oh and Denmark
And Cyprus
All of their teams are out
Same
so no problems from Switzerland
Who is maccabi playing
Zagreb can qualify against Krasnodar
I feel like 1-0 win and 2-1 loss
Or something like that
They could win both
Slavia have Leicester
Yeah
so they will go out
Probably
Red Star im sorry to say but im predicting 2 deafeats
defeats*
Milan are playing good this season
Olympiakos a win here and a defeat there and hopefully we will qualify on away goals
Turkey is slowly falling in the rankings
5 years ago they were 8th and now they are 13th
Ikr
they will join our battling soon lol
Scotland were 23rd last season and now they are 11th
Celtic went from UCL 1st qualyfying to UEL ro32 last season and Rangers from UEL 1st qualifying to UEL ro16 last season
and Aberdeen to the UEL playoffs
and Hibernian aswell
this year Rangers are undefeated in Europe and Celtic went to UEL gs
Damn
that is a lot of points
lmao same
yeah but AEK got 3 points
Yeah
lost to fucking Zorya
That's such a shame
true haha
They at least do job properly

Who are Antwerp
Belgian club that are near the top last few years
Better than standard leige ?
Probably
Oh
And omonia :(
Legia is first in the league
L*ch is like 7th
says everything
besides the Qarabag game was Michniewicz's first game
Aris player Marios Siabanis had a meeting with a judge about him getting bribed before the PAOK game yesterday
But PAOK stated that he should be penalished for 3 years because u can have a meeting with a judge about a football case only in a matter of 48 hours after the incident
The fact is,Siabanis never talked about when he was approached by the bribers
So PAOK is looking kinda sus
how do they know when the bribers approached him?
If he never spoke about it

and he just said that he was approached before the game on his interview after the Aris-PAOK game
so PAOK very sus
@hollow juniper so what can happen
anything lol

17
@hollow juniper how were marin and ben in ur club
Olympiacos
Whe. They played there
Ben was mediocre played like 5 games and scored 2 goals against Partizan
Marin was good but the 17/18 season when we finished 3rd everyone was gone
Yeah i know that
cause Marinakis ended all contracts cause of the poor finish
h
What
Plzen abused Teplice
I saw
How
Plzen lost at home vs Karvina like 1 and a half week ago
Btw Imma cover the last matchday's Liga 1 games later tonight
Half of them at least
Maul's Liga 1 of the Day Week vol 13: 11-14 December 2020
First match of Friday involved FC Botoşani and Astra Giurgiu, both teams were coming off draws, 2-2 vs Sepsi and 0-0 vs Chindia, respectively. First chance of the game came in the 17th minute, when Jonathan Rodriguez's shot almost went in the top corner but Astra's keeper, David Lazar, managed to make a great spring to save the shot. Another great save from Lazar 3 minutes later on Keyta's shot, but it's fair to say that the shot went straight at him.
Another save like that in the 30th minute, this time Mahmoud al Mawas's shot went straight at Lazar. 10 minutes into the 2nd half, Constantin Budescu's cross found Mattia Montini which scored a good header. In the 67th minute, al Mawas's cross was intercepted by Constantin Dima, only problem was that he intercepted it with his hand, the ref saw the incident and gave Botoşani a penalty. Keyta converted the penalty calmly, with no problems. A match which maybe should have been won by Botoşani, but nonetheless you gotta appreciate Lazar's efforts this game. This draw helped Astra climb up to 14th until at least Poli Iaşi's game later that day against Dinamo Bucureşti. Meanwhile Botoşani climbed up to 9th until at least Dinamo's game against Iaşi.
Second match of Friday, as said, involved Dinamo Bucureşti and Poli Iaşi. Both teams having financial problems and also a bad season. Dinamo were coming off a 1-0 win vs FC Argeş meanwhile Iaşi lost 2-0 vs CFR Cluj last time out. Iaşi's winger, Platini, cut inside and scored a goal from some distance in the 4th minute, giving Iaşi hope that they may win. In the 15th minute, Ioan Borcea got fouled inside the box by Cosmin Frăsinescu and the ref gave a penalty to Dinamo. Sorescu scored the penalty with no emotions whatsoever, equalising for Dinamo. 10 minutes into the 2nd half Platini had a go from long range and hit the post, then, the veteran striker, Andrei Cristea, had an open net, yet still he managed to fuck up the chance not even managing to shoot the ball. 3 minutes later, Sorescu picked out an unmarked Adam Nemec with his cross, the slovak striker scoring a powerful header. In the 77th minute, former Getafe midfielder, Paul Anton, scored a beauty of a goal from long range, the ball went in the top corner beautifully. No chance for Levente Bosz. 3-1 Dinamo. 9 minutes later, Sorescu bagged his 2nd assist of the night, putting it on a plate for former Everton striker Magaye Gueye. A match which started so well for Iaşi, ended in a humiliating defeat for them. This win helped Dinamo climb to 9th place on the table meanwhile Iaşi remained on the second-last spot.
Uh, so, no time to cover any other game too, so I will continue tomorrow with the rest.
always enjoy reading that stuff
cause those are matches and leagues I'll never have time to watch but I love footy so I'm down to read about things like that as I have time and can
Thoughts on Nordsjaelland
uh
...
20 minutes left
@hollow juniper it says it's latvian ref on flashscore
yeah
greek federation has made an agreement with uefa for european refs at derbies
Today,PAOK leaked Marios Siambanis,Aris goalkeeper, adress to the internet and now everyone knows where he lives. They had no right to do so,they only did cause he is in the case of Aris players getting bribed before the PAOK match
Crazy stuff imagine if some idiot attacks his home
he has a one year old daughter
imagine if PAOK hooligans attack his house
...
That's a little bit fucked up, even for us
I want paok to bankrupt or something
Tbf I only liked them because Lucescu was there
They should fire him
and the worst is he took the Federations okay to do so
Wait what
yeah
cause PAOK leaked Siabanis contracts
and only the Federation and the player himself has the contracts
so if the player didnt give PAOK his contract
the Federation did
and in the contract his phone number and house adress is there
so
I hate the Federation more now
What the hell is wrong with that federation
its corrupt
Dude should leave Greece tbh
Imagine hosting a final in 2017 with dead people and still being in the Federation
thats how shit they are
people died in the 2017 final
and they still stayed
More corrupted than ours too
How
What the

so dm
