Benfica held, this Tuesday morning, the last training session in preparation for their debut in this edition of the Champions League, with the reception to the Austrian side RB Salzburg, and Roger Schmidt had news, with the return of three injured players.
Until now, the red clinical bulletin had three members, Gonçalo Guedes, Juan Bernat and David Jurasek, but the trio already showed up this Tuesday morning and trained alongside the rest of their colleagues, at least in the 15 minutes open to the media.

FC Porto started this edition of the Youth League in the best possible way and defeated Shakhtar Donetsk (although the game was in Germany) by 1-4, setting an example for the older players, who, later on, will also take action in the Champions League.
Like the main team, FC Porto was also making its debut in the UEFA Youth League - known as the Champions League for young people, already won by the Dragons in 2018/19 - against the Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, in a game played in Germany, in Norderstedt.
It was soon noticeable that the young dragons, led by Nuno Capucho, were at a competitive pace above their opponents and it was with relative ease that they reached the opening goal, in a beautiful play by Gonçalo Sousa on the right, assisting Rodrigo Mora, the great talent of this team. Furthermore, whenever the little dragons accelerated their offensive carousel a little and applied some positional changes, the Ukrainian defense had clear offensive difficulties and FC Porto was always the best team on the field.

Otherwise, it seemed like a mere formality until the numbers started to increase. The 0-2 reached 32', following a beautiful cross from Dinis Rodrigues on the left and a beautiful header from the little Rodrigo Mora in the heart of the area. Shortly afterwards, at 38', it was Jorge Meireles' turn to add a penalty, after captain Luís Gomes had been fouled in a corner.
Given this already advantageous result and with the qualitative difference between the two teams being noticeable, the 2nd half was a mere formality, but there was still time for the Dragons to extend the rout and reach the contours of a rout.
