I talked about it here before but it was mostly financial struggles that built up over the years since Covid/Mediapro fiasco, plus the internal organization of the club was horrendous, thankfully it's changing now thru Zoumana Camara but always brought people from within the family to control the club... even Jean-Louis Gasset when he was appointed coach in October... players used to come at 10, train till 12 or 1 and then leave, each eating on their own, no physical observation...
And then most importantly, the players realized they were irreplaceable and so stopped putting that much effort, any good player that started performing was getting sold, and yeah when you see your team get relegated for the first time in 16 years it's logical that the fans turn on the players & start hating the squad
