Chotard, Omeragic, Savanier, Maamma, Kouyaté are all starters.
Jullien is of starting XI quality aswell

Crazy stat but:

We've only had a "complete" defense (all starting players playing in their respective positions) for 10 minutes this entire season (10 first minutes of MHSC-Nantes), where Sylla got injured & left at 10'.

The second time we aligned players in their respective positions (though Mincarelli, our semi-good LB was playing) was our only win of the season, 3-2, & the third time a super late defeat 2-1 against Monaco away (great performances).

So technically our record with a "complete" defense (counting Mincarelli) this season is 1 win & 1 late late loss against Monaco away

It is very unfortunate what the sport situation is today & the context during our celebrations, but it is essential to take a moment to pay tribute to the institution, La Paillade, which makes many hearts beat every weekend and slowly but surely animates our lives week after week.

Even though the present worries us all as fans, no one can forget the glorious past of Montpellier. No one can forget the Coupe de France won in 1990, the first trophy that gave the club a place among the greats. And of course, everyone here knows it & hopefully admits it as the greatest achievement in modern football history... the unforgettable 2011-2012 season, where, against all odds, our players went for the Ligue 1, defying even the most ridiculous predictions against the Qatari ogre and offering Montpellier a moment of immense pride that will live on forever and ever.

I joke around a lot but we would be nothing without the Nicollin family, who gave birth to this club and took it to the top. Thanks to Louis Nicollin, this great enthusiast, for his dedication and vision, and to his successors, especially Laurent, who continue to keep this flame alive, and this despite my many (justified) criticisms.

Thanks to them, MHSC is much more than just a club; it is French football heritage and a pillar of our identity.

As I speak there are 24 matches left. 24 finals to play. We'll forever continue to sing, encourage and support the blue & orange colors. Because, whatever happens, we will always be proud to be "Les Pailladins" ("un pailladin ne lâche rien !").

Vitorino Hilton

Vitorino Hilton (or Vito') joined Montpellier in 2011 at the age of 33 years old after he was benched for some time at OM. Signed for 2 seasons, he was expected to bring some experience to the youngsters.

First season. Montpellier won the league with Hilton being a key element in the title-winning XI.

Expected to stay for only 2 seasons & retire at 35, Vito' kept signing 1-season extensions season after season and ended up playing 10 seasons as a starter, becoming the oldest player in the history of Ligue 1 at 43 years & 8 months old.

Ever since his retirement, he started training the U19s, and with the assignment of Jean-Louis Gasset as manager of the team a few weeks ago, Vitorino Hilton finally became the main team's assistant and an integral part of the club staff.
