I don't know if I should be happy or upset cause on one hand, that investment (and some good hires) could be huge to help close the gap between Espanyol to it's rivals especially Barca. On the other, Espanyol would lose it's identity among the local fans especially if the club becomes successful (I know that the Pericos mainly pride themselves as a more tight-knit local club compared to Barcelona's massive global fanbase, which was one of the major reasons to support the club in the first place).
