This will allow for much more efficiency, Mbappe is a mobile 9 meaning that he won’t operate like a true 9 which means that usually we lack the 9 presence who can make runs, open up space with OTB movements, etc. With Mbappe able to play more freely due to being a SS he will be able to roam, make smart OTB movements to receive a ball and sometimes drop a bit to help with build up while also being able to eliminate 1v1s thus allowing more space for us to roam in while still having the 9 presence in Gonzalo.
