But PSG director got sacked and he had to renew at Barcelona. Barcelona was desperate so they had to agree to let dembele renew on his own terms because the salary they couldn't give him as much as he wanted. The release clauses were inserted by the club the agent fees and private clause were inserted by him and his agent so he could exit no matter what if he wanted to.
