La protesta fue la cima de un año muy pésimo, gracias a una directiva (apodados los chorizos) de pesadilla. Esta misma directiva se había negado a pagar sueldos y habían varios jugadores viviendo en la ciudad deportiva de La Albericia por no poder pagar una casa. En este día los jugadores dijeron basta y mientras los aficionados gritaban con todo “NO SE JUEGA” pues así fue; no se jugó, y toda España vió y vivió nuestra pasión. Desde entonces la afición llevamos un orgullo enorme y tenemos el privilegio de poder hacer cambios en el club, e inspirar a los jugadores de una manera poca vista en España.
