Idk if I’m truly informed enough, at least in depth, but I sense some misinformation from Neville.

Barcelona continue to pay their players, they have an agreed upon contract that extended their contracts along with the wage deferrals.

We had players voluntarily extended their contracts whilst deferring their wages. The issues would potentially arouse when the player leaves the club, with the club stating that the player is not owed said deferrals following their departure.

The club, however, haven’t stopped paying Frenkie what’s he’s always been owed under the contract that was extended/renegotiated in 2020, which is what he’s Neville is suggesting.

Where the the missed up stuff lies, is how the club are indeed so open about trying to ship him off, and sell him.
