but since they cant relegate they put up 0 effort and end up on the last 3 positions (Olympic doesnt count they suck ass)
And now it raises concerns because RWDM/Seraing/Francs Borains could be relegated finishing 13th out of 17 because those deadass U23 clubs do nothing
The new rule also sucks
If a U23 club gets relegated, then another U23 club must be promoted as a replacement
so basically if a U23 club relegates, then the normal team that wins D3 cannot be promoted cus it must be another U23 club to replace them
If we apply this to 25-26 season, Club NXT would get relegated but Hasselt couldnt replace them
the only real solution would be to relegate U23 teams like normal teams without needing to swap them with other U23 clubs. If you want to add competition with those clubs, you have to put them into the same conditions as other clubs. KV Mechelen finished 12th out of 16, one point in front of relegated 15th
they got to participate in promotion playoffs, need 3 wins (could even be 2) to promote
Same scenario with Zulte Waregem who finished 10th, just less worse
In group A, only KVDO (2nd) received a licence in the top 5, they got eliminated in the first round by Harelbeke (who finished 8th)
we are now in a position in which half the clubs should not have participated in the first place
