Romário and Zico were two of Brazil’s most gifted attacking legends, each symbolizing different eras of Brazilian football brilliance.
Zico was the creative genius of Brazil’s iconic team at the 1982 and the 1986 World Cup. Known for his vision, passing, technique and deadly free kicks, he was the heart of one of the most entertaining sides football has ever seen. Despite never winning the World Cup, his performances and style made him one of the most admired playmakers in history.
Romário, meanwhile, became the hero of Brazil’s triumph at the 1994 World Cup. Combining incredible finishing, movement and technical ability, he scored decisive goals throughout the tournament and formed a lethal partnership with Bebeto. His brilliance carried Brazil to their first World Cup title in 24 years, and he was awarded the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player.
