I would say that survival feels like slavery now, we're not allowed to have fun anymore. Only farming and mining but money is useless so why do we farm and mine? Hence we're all just bored and looking for fun but thanks to fucktard like sluwee and cederist there is no way to enjoy survival anymore. Please unfuck survival we need the fun like of last reset.

i do not think both things remotely correlate, shopless economy works perfectly fine if designed around correctly (which clearly cant be expected here), the issue with gc's economy will always be the fact that you make money, but they dont give you content, "Ok i have 100M now what?" thats boring, pyrofishing, pyromining both are interesting and have so much damn potential as money making alternatives but not if you just drop it in with their default configs and call it a day, gc has always sucked at creating fun, modern, engaging content, but shopless economies never were the issue for the drops in players

i lost my point to earn money after a week.

last season was a zimbabwe-like inflation economy, then guys focused on solving this problem. now, we limit the money at least better than before, but we dont have any place to spend this amount of money.

a suggestion: improve the sshop with some "shop-only" stuff, items or perks. then, let the conversion from money to shards happen, people gonna spend the money on shards.

I personally would recommend making spawners themselves available with in game money. but make them exceptionally expensive in correlation to rarity. This used to be the case when I played survival here around 13 years ago. Survival at the time had 200+ players continuously on the server. That encouraged people to get money to get these spawners. However, i would recommend making spawner keys either rarer or make chances even lower for rare spawners.

Besides that I believe the weekend competitions are super nice. Server wide competitions whether for 1 day or for a week (e.g. build competition) would create excitement in my opinion.

Furthermore, I believe a lot of these things might become less of an issue once dungeons open. You can even make it cost to attempt a dungeon.

Really creativity is the main thing here. we have too much money so make things start costing money rather than not. For example, getting spawners is limited to keys only or getting it from other players. A player either has to wait or simply cannot achieve his goal of getting this spawner. instead if like a wither spawner cost 10 mil for example. Players can grind for money to buy one. Encourages spending time on the server than just praying for envoy event or waiting for vote keys.

Shard shop is a great idea, but as amazed mention, it loses purpose a bit with ranks. adding more things to get that you cant with ranks would be a good idea.

Discussing ideas is really good even if they are contradicting. As long as we discuss stuff, we can slowly narrow down the things that can improve the server :).
