I knocked over a Monster onto my Uni a few months ago, it got under the faceplate, I pulled it off and dried out the paper. But I got a scratch on the inside of the faceplate plastic and part of the design wore off and I'm still a bit bummed about it.

I know I talk about France stuff a lot BUT the big french anime/manga convention is coming up early/mid July! I think that by then it would make sense for an announcement to be made, be it another comic or the device

I think it already might have pink on it anyways though. It’s kind of obscured but it looks like at the bottom there are yellow and pink coral, and I also see some pink bubbles on the left and right sides of the screen

It might be dulled down because it’s in the background behind the other two shells

I also feel that adding pink would detract from the more gender-neutral aspect of that shell? Unfortunately gender stereotypes are still very prevalent so I think having an option that can be seen as unisex or less feminine is also fair.

And that’s not to say I hate pink lmao, pink is my favorite color and I’ll probably get all three shells when they come out. But as a small kid when I lived with my dad it was very much “you can only have BOY things”, my first two Tamas were the camo and arctic camo V2’s bc of that. So I can only imagine there are other kids out there, both girls and boys, missing out on toys because of this.

The funny thing about the tamagotchi pronunciation is that “go-chee” has been in use since the vintage era, it was used in video adventures, but the “gah-tchi” is what was in the advertising at the time which was most people’s first exposure to the series, so that’s why it stuck in most people’s minds
