This is a general pet peeve of mine but I hate when monster tamer franchises use the word characters or monsters in additon/as a replacement for the name of the species.

Like for example "Collect 50,000 new Tamagotchi Characters!"
Or "Ash Ketchum must catch all 151 Pokémon creatures"
Or "Battle with new fierce monsters in this Digimon game!"

Like the name is the species you dont have to call them characters ontop its so immersion breaking lol

You are right. The person who shared snapshots of the comic stated that it doesn't give new information about the device itself, asides from insights into the lore/gameplay from the story part

There is new info on the device in the comic thou. You can clearly see that you can use the wheel sticking out to zoom in on tamagotchis. It also looks like you can have more than one tamagotchi at once and that you are monitoring them, like someone else suggested earlier. Im not sure I like the idea pf having more than one at a time, but I think the zoom function looks interesting. We have a new tamagotchi planet, that's also exciting. This could be a huge change for the tamagotchi's gameplay and mechanichs
