they actually changed the futons again on the akai (star for boys and heart for girls), and made all the furniture more tama-like (like the bath and the toilet)
the entama and uratama turn off the lights automatically at night but you can still see them during christmas iirc
the updated futons didn't make it to international devices until the music star

but someone did post their a male new connection sleeping and they used the og connection futon so i doubt they'd use these updated ones
but the keitai one for girls is not out of the question yet

The tune that plays when you connect your tamagotchis and they sing/dance to each other is also different. On the original connections it ends on a high note, but on the rerelease it seems to end on a low note

I think it was on Ratamazone's (?) interview video or on some official announcement but it's confirmed that the bundles ship and are packaged separately. They're sold together to make it easier to grab 'em but it's the same as manually putting both in your basket

Reset and hold all three buttons at the same time, then press A, b, c, A and then it should display the version, if you press the reset button on this screen, you shouldn't lose any data, but if you press any other buttons it will proceed to do a ROM test and wipe your data

Biggest problem with checking the ROM version right now is that we don’t know if the test menu is the same as the connections, if a different button combination is needed to see the version then there’s a risk of ROM testing instead of seeing the version

the keitai and akai dont "randomly" get sick
they can get sick from missing a discipline call
if they get sick from a discipline call that means you missed the discipline call which does count as a care miss
and getting sick from a care miss contributes to the most common death cause: getting sick 5 times in the same growth stage

also if you don't cure the sickness in 15 minutes that's physical care miss
so if you see them randomly get sick and the attention icon is already off that means you got 2 care misses (at least)

I truly don't believe the "test battery" theory they don't make test 2032 cells with less capacity than any other standard one.

Anyone experiencing short battery life is either experiencing glitches or, plays the games and makes sounds that drain the battery heavily.

I've never had an issue with the stock batteries in any Tama.

People just thought it was random because they didn’t realize they had missed a call

This remake seems to work the same way, it will get sick if you miss a training call

There was an adult there that was basically like Tsunotchi is to me now, could not get it no matter what, and then one day I just randomly got it
