so I've found asset bundles with models but not textures yet. There's an asset bundle with shaders but I'm not sure how well they decompile

Its not really that kind of game, it's more collecting resources to fix things so far. There isn't a villain, so I don't think there's any fights

I'm shocked at how good the quality of the game is based on how small the western tama market seems. From the animated intro to the graphics and controls and smooth gameplay. I thought it was gonna be janky and cheap feeling like the Hello Kitty apple arcade game (no offense to that game. It's still fun, too). It feels like the budgets for Hello Kitty and Tamagotchi games got accidentally swapped.

I've been wanting another game like ACNH for a while. What really got me hooked with ACNH was the ability to terraform and decorate my entire island, and there's not a lot of games that support that kind of freedom while also having chill gameplay tasks (as in, it's not just a sandbox, you get an excuse to live in the world you create)... but games like this (and Ooblets, and a few others) scratch the itch for a little bit!

I'm using an 8BitDo Lite and it works great with my iPad Pro! I'm not very far yet, but I'm enjoying how relaxed things are. Also that Meteoritchi continues to be referred to by he/it pronouns ;)

This really scratches the tamatown itch of immersive tama world exploration. My partner has been watching someone play medieval Sims and we joked that it's poor man's balders gate, and adventure kingdom is poor man's breath of the wild

The map is really huge. I'm just about to get forced out of kuchipatchi forest to guru guru beach for some sand and I don't feel ready to leave yet.

I also saw arabic as an available language and that was very surprising to me! I'm wondering if they also included jokes. I'm a slow reader in Arabic so I opted for English instead but maybe if I 100 percent in English I'll give arabic a go :))) a lot of effort was put into this and I'm really happy about a lot of it. Storyline, models, the cute intro, the sunrise animation, the large map, I even like the music

Its because to get the energy drink for that guy, you have to use "Patchi Assist" (I think that's what it's called?)
Basically kuchi stretches out and you use him as a bridge, so you can cross over and use the vending machine

You go to the mines and mine the iron in the front half (the part before you unlock the rest with 3 gas lamps) and you'll have a eureka moment where you come up with the battery blueprint. Then its as simple as iron + energy orb (the thing from sealing small geysers)

I must have gotten it from a quest in patchi forest bc I had it very early on. Do you look at the map for the ! icons? After a certain point they stop showing up until you trigger another one by doing something else somewhere else (like unlocking guru guru town leads to bukitchi and a top hat quest but if you don't unlock guru guru town you just won't have anymore quests in patchi forest)

I've had texture glitches like these lines in the crop fields. And the guru guru beach has no water in it. Just... Black emptiness with blue dots for the fish. I can still swim fish and dive so idk if it's actually a glitch. Looks very weird. The only other potentially game breaking glitch for me is sometimes kuchipatchi or memetchi get stuck behind me when trying to assist with mining or digging and they just kind of run in place for a very long time. They usually get around me eventually. Once as well, kuchipatchi couldn't get out of cabrioletchi so I also just had to wait.

I think closing out of the app and reloading it would reload the environment. And if that doesn't work maybe going to the next in game day ?

I've had a couple freezes, usually when I did something unexpected. Like, I opened the decorating menu just as the animation for finishing crafting was playing. But the game just came out, so a few bugs is expected

It was like her hair got stuck in the shovel state and every time she went to shovel it would return to normal briefly, she’d immediately stop and stand up again, and then it’d go back into the shovel shape

I can't remember who I was talking to about how fishing is so hard but I upgraded to an iron rescue rod and it gets significantly easier so I've been able to catch the large fish now.

I'm still really bad at driving and I don't think there's anything that changes that.

Disappointing news. Silver axe to cut up vines. Check. Got to the spaceship. No one’s there and there’s nothing to do there. Two small geysers to seal up, you can chop up more vines. There are black trumpet mushrooms. There was a diggable spot with a pink blueprint. I’m guessing for sewing projects. I dug it up but I didn’t get a notification of receiving a blueprint so I don’t know if that’s a glitch

I’m hoping that I just went there too early and maybe this will be plot relevant later..?

For me it's not similar to animal crossing, it looks more like Disney Dreamlight Valley, Dragon quest builders and Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you have to do quests and build stuff, gather materials, but you don't have a friendship meter. It's really cute though and I'm enjoyining a lot.

Tama street is separated from tamatown. You unlock both of them separately. Interestingly I think unlocking gotchi castle takes less hearts to unlock than tama street. Kind of annoying bc I think story wise and also ease of material gathering you're meant to unlock tama street first.

I do agree that they put a lot of attention to detail in the script of this game. The characters in the anime feel really true to their characterization and even the more minor ones that show up or don’t show up in the anime are still really specific to what is known about them. I think there's a cooking recipe for water that's just two water mushrooms that you can fetch from diving in patchi lake. The bottle isn't necessary for the recipe I guess it just spontaneously appears.

Oh yes these are campgrounds and train stations. 4 train stations in each major location (patchi forest, guru guru beach, tamatown and tama street) and the campgrounds are somewhat scattered. One is in "patchi mountains" north of patchi forest (going above the forge patchi and mining that big rock.) There's another campground on "north road" which is above that big geyser that had a scruffy looking tama asking you to get rid of it. The bonfire is near a wooden tower structure on the eastern side of the road. The next bonfire is past the mines. (So if you go west from tama camp) there's a long windy road, if you see cow fields, there is a bonfire around the cow field)

There's two more campfires that I've found. One is to the west of tamatown, right before you enter tamatown there's a chance to go north. The bonfire is near a grandfather grandson duo who do ceramics normally but now offer paths for your tama camp. The next bonfire is near Gotchi Castle. I haven't explored tama street yet but there should be one more bonfire there.

Late game seems to have a lot more exclamation mark glitches. They show up in misleading spots on the map, or maybe even where there are no quests to get/complete... I'm also finally seeing some item glitches, mostly in the form of stuff on my house walls duplicating or getting removed and put back into my inventory. Annoyingly there are also general decorating glitches in my house, where I can't select stuff from the walls sometimes, especially the side walls.

Also - can anyone give a hint for getting the soccer ball out of Hermitchi's house? ||I've tried entering at night, with only Mametchi, and with Lovelitchi (to sing a lullaby? idk)||

its ok! no i havent yet. i got a response saying they were looking into it when i emailed in but nothing since

hopefully they push a fix with a new update

i admit tho i havent played in a few days

someone else got that bug as well, idk if they got it fixed yet as well

I feel like i’m stuck on a few parts, I also have the glitch with the lemonade springs which will hopefully get fixed in an update. But I am having trouble finding a few resources I haven't found marble rocks in the mine, So I don't know if I am deep enough in, but in order to get to the next level I need to fix the firework stand in Tama town to which also requires marble? I also haven't found any underground caves yet at Gotchi King Castle. And I have been everywhere in Tampa Street but can't locate the Waru Cafe Master for the packages delivery. I feel like i’m stuck in progressing through the game with the first few tasks.

For the marble, you need to talk to the Prince outside the gotchi castle. He'll point you towards a rock on the side of the castle, and through there is the mines with the marble

so i went to see lonelypatchi, or moreso just ran into him after curiously knocking at his door more than once but i realised id already picked 1 of the weeds in his garden and now the quest wont complete because it says 4/5 when theres no more weeds left 😭

to be fair i dont think i was supposed to get in but mametchi went through when i was trying to get to the ||frogtchi|| behind it...

has anyone else had this happen or am i just extremely unlucky

I think even if you pick a weed that isn't in his garden it'll also count towards the mission

The cafe is close to the robot that gives you quests on tama street. Go down the main way towards them and when you see that tama turn left. The tama will also point it out when it's time to repair the cafe. You need to repair the cafe before you can enter and deliver the package

hey does anyone know where to find the lil tamagotchi that you play hide and seek with? as in, uh, where you can find them once the game begins 😅 either im really bad at it or theyre really good at hiding!
