@oak bobcat this makes absolutely no sense. All green eggs, I don't think hunger or happiness changed anything for teen evolution. I might go back to the CM theory and possibly playing games removing CMs. I'll try again and try high CM and no games unless this has already been done. The other common thing is I never used any items they loved on any of them. First gen ate loved foods, all the others had only cereal and jelly beans.

Never went above 1 hunger or 5 happiness. Evolved with those stats.

What I did since my second UNI was for my friend was to just put Africa for it to see if I would get african items, few appeared! and connected my two devices with two different countries, and now I have shimashimatchi so I do feel it's how you get them maybe ....

I really like the Uni so far, it's kinda like taking the good aspects of the Pix and the Smart and combining them together with quality of life improvements and new features

I am only worried about its longevity and what is going to happen after the Tamaverse servers shut down

But so far it's really nice, I like how much focus it puts on the accessories because dressing up my Tamas was always one of the most fun things for me

Result of two devices, both have different countries location settings (not sure if it's that important but I prefer to notice it), Blue egg, Mitsumarutchi child, Gunchitchi teen with 4 CM (wanted Shykutchi) and then when it evolved, Shimashimatchi was here I guess the two devices connection is a must but I also connected my two devices a lot! Might be what raises chances to get them? Mimitchi was friendly and Bigsmile was honest. My shimashimatchi is now honest himself! Hope it can help, if you have questions don't hesitate!

@oak bobcat i think this is every bff/matching item we've managed to make so far, i'll have another go at some point to see if we can get more! i consolodated some of them to make things easier when they didn't clash with eachother, hope thats okay. the names are all in caps on the tama.
So in order, there is:

• matching funny faces & bff walking stick

• matching funny hats & white tama toy

• bff hat

• matching bucket hats

• matching fake glasses

• matching frames

• matching afros & bff bag (which unfortunately gets cut off)

and i'm fairly certain i got all the names right, some are plural and some are not 🤷‍♀️ odd

I got Niinitchi (Honest) and it's at Otamatchi. Very low happiness, like one cookie, three bars. I tried to get care misses, but it never stopped crying my name even after 15 minutes.

Otamatchi got sick from neglect at some point today, but I saved her. I don't have an exact count in care misses, so we'll see what teen I get. 🙂 Tadpole cute tho

There's rising suspicion that item usage has something to do with evo, but even that's been producing mixed results

If there is something like that at play, we're yet to narrow down if it's just usage in general, skill level with a toy, or meeting an alternate evo condition through using a specific item/food a number of times
