This was mine ! A friend gifted it to me at school, i had one green and one orange. Im desperately trying to find them again, managed to find a pink and a yellow but not the others !

I also had this one that i found bnib few days ago 😄 not sure which one was the first one but it's one of them !

This was my first, and I must admit I was so excited . I wanted a tamagotchi and my cousin got the giga pet dog and I got the giga pet cat the gold edition and they died so fast it was a disappointment. I had a bad impression of Tamas until recently when I got myself a rerelease of p2 and loved it. I wish I knew where that compukitty went

My first vpet was a bunnyrom lmao, back then we didn't have enough money to get legitimate vpets but i genuinely had a lot of fun playing with it until it broke
My first tamagotchi was the 4u tho, got it in June for my birthday and i remember seeing the 4u+ release in July and being sad i didn't wait for that lolll

My first was the Renge V4. I had wanted one ever since my sister had gotten a V3 for her birthday when I was 9, and our neighbour had a V2 and a V4. I finally got one and it was fantastic.

My first one was a knock-off a tamagotchi connection V2, which meant I couldn't connect with my friends at school because they all legitimate ones. I loved it anyway and got other vpets afterwards like the LPS vpet and pixel chicks

So my first vpet was the nano puppy and it looked like this. I actually got it because I was begging my parents for a tamagotchi and my dad got me this because it was cheaper 😂 the animations were really cute and I was obsessed with it until I figured out it couldn't connect with my friends tamagotchi's (v1)

first vpet was the blue microphone music star! my shell is really damaged cos i tried to decorate it years ago and it failed, but I don't want to sell it or give it away lol

Great topic! I still have my very first one. Blue Tamatown Tama-Go, with Memetchi. 😄 I picked her out at a Toys R Us for my 8th birthday. I loved her so much and I would take her everywhere, and take good care of her. I wasn’t able to read English fluently at the time, so I kind of had to learn the game by trial and error! This was my very first exposure to tamagotchi and its wonders. I was soon obsessed with the online Tamatown, and fan sites like Pixelmood, wishing that I’d someday be able to get these awesome toys :) (Childhood dreams fulfilled!)

Unfortunately I lost the original faceplate print (I think I didn’t like it because it was too pink, so I’d make my own with crayons or something? 😧) but yeah… here she is! I’m thinking of selling her or trading her for a different color tama-go… Whoever she ends up with, I hope they take good care! It’s a very loved tamagotchi ☺️

Mine was this very random dinosaurus vpet. I think my mom or dad or both bought for me and my sister vpets. This was around 1997-1998. I was still going this day care club thing and I remember I took it with me there and sneakily always played with it.

It was lost in time when I grew up. I finally 2019 started to ask my mom if she knows where it is. She said it might be on the attic. I found it there after hours of search, the backplate was lost another year until I found it too.

It didn't work anymore excited the sounds but I changed the screen from another vpet and it started to work! I cried that day, it bought back so many memories of my early childhood. I still love it! 🦖

Mine was this blue and white P1 from the original release in the 90s ! So many of my friends at school had tamagotchi in all these cute colours, but by the time I’d saved up enough money to buy one (my parents wouldn’t buy for me 😭) all that was left at Toys R Us were like 10 of these boring blue and white ones and I was SO MAD LOL

Eventually I took it apart to try and change the background picture and ended up breaking it.

Now I have a soft spot for it - and last year decided I needed to re-buy for my collection ❤️

This V3 was my first Tamagotchi ! It used to follow me everywhere ! And it was awesome to connect it with my friends' devices ! It's pretty old now, but it works fine ! I plan to raise an immortal character there for symbolic purposes.

I remember I was super bad at raising good characters, though. I probably didn't even understand what to do. But I was still super upset because I couldn't get Violetchi who used to be my favorite character. I started to believe it was a myth that you could even have her.

I had lots of tamagotchi, those cheap and bad ones, one day my mother finally decided to buy the real thing! A pink V4 connection for me, and a purple transparent, also v4, for my brother! I remember alwais bredding them together and connecting to game for easy money making! I also remember getting on the tamatown site every day for money too, it was awesome, sad that site is down.

I had a very similar experience with my childhood V4 (which wasn't my first tama but still a special one) - lost my original one, but a few years ago I found someone local to me selling one for $5 and it felt like fate

Like a $5 tama is amazing in itself but the fact that it was my childhood shell made it so much better

My first tamagotchi was a half broken v1. Most of the screen was gone because it had gone through the wash, although I had managed to still be able to use it, it was given to me by a friend. I have ever since then been addicted to tamagotchi and this was 17 year ago.

Mine was a tamatown tamago! My grandma bought two of them, one for me and my sister, and then a third eventually, can’t remember why but I have both wave one and wave two of the tamago bc of that :) I still have it with me and I think it’s in very good condition! My sister gave me hers as well bc she knows how much I love Tamagotchis. My grandma also bought us four figures lol, they’re with the Tama. I never remember opening them tho LOL.

I don't still own it, but my first Tama was the yellow and blue P1. I was a lot more fond of my Pocket Pikachu when I was young, so I didn't continue to collect tamas. I got back into them recently with the licensed Nanos, just in time for the ON to be discontinued and no longer available for a decent price

i dont own it anymore, as i gave it away to someone, but i HATED the gameplay. i thought all tamas were like this, but then i got a tamagotchi on, and well that kind of why im still here lol

I got a P2 when I was like 8 years old. We went to lunch at a Chinese-American restaurant right after and I ignored everyone to play with it. Got my parents in on cleaning up its poop. I got mimichi on my first try.
