note that starting a mining mission and canceling it (clicking No 🤣 ) or closing the game counts as 'using' the mission chance.

I don't know whether you know it or not, I'm just adding it for completeness. It's another way to explain what you're experiencing - if you click away too early in the mission, or click 'no' by mistake. Even from the original post, it didn't seem like that's what's happening, but knowing that could be useful

I'll try tomorrow to start a titanium mission and see what happens, I usually do silicon
