LLPVP optout bug

In game name as above. Rawtart. I went to opt out of LLPVP today, and it showed me a target I could run from as per usual. But after I beat them it was recorded as a LLPVP match and I could no longer opt out… I just wanted to grind today. Honestly it stupid we cant just play out LLPVP matches when we want like how tourney matches we can play when we want… It’s already super annoying to have to opt out all the time and now even when I opt out it counts as a pvp match… Your game is so painful to play.

no opponent should appear when you opt out of llpvp? How did you manage to get that opponent to appear?

N o clue what happened. I believe, I vaguely remember, when it showed the ship I could run or attack but I don’t think there was a next button? So, it felt a little funny, but when you ‘match’ in LLPVP it just instant sends you to the fight, so I knew I did click optout like I wanted. Yet, after the fight it was recorded as a LLPVP battle and I could no longer optout. It was really weird.. I was def frustrated at the time because I just got off work and I wanted to grind and relax so it was rather annoying to deal with.

Actually, the ship it selected was one on my friends list, and the layout where you can select only run or fight with no next option is how friend battles look. There was no ‘this is a friend battle’ warning though. But perhaps that is where the bug came in.

Probably not intentionally? I am guessing I would need to optout and then randomly be matched with someone in my buddy list, which is pretty small. So it is surely a niche bug. And that is if that is the issue. I would also take a hit in resources because being in LLPVP punishes you and prevents you from gaining rank normally and thus sticks you with the 80k rewards instead of the 100k resource legend pvp rewards so… I will avoid that.
