new messages are not at the top

The hotfix update announcement stated that new messages from friends would be at the top of the list. Now, after the update, even the one workaround I came up with to see who sent new messages, by sharing a battle replay, doesn't work.

I thought perhaps it was only for previous new messages, but I just sent a message to myself from my alt, and it's the same issue.

Here's the same trick on the Android phone after the update (doesn't work anymore as it's not showing the message from my alt account).

I'm sure it's already known. I'm just adding for reference.

yea this won't work anymore because its not supposed to be ordered by message date for that panel

When will the thing that's supposed to work start working? It would have been nice to have that fixed first.
