I used an item and it disappeared, and I don't know where the item I used it on is

I also noticed that when I scrolled through the items to use, it showed me several items with the same second characteristic, as if they were duplicates. I don't know what that is

Is there going to be any compensation for the used crucibles? I bought a bunch but ended up not getting the items I rolled for this exact bug.

Once the dev team identify the issue the server dev will go through and check what was used and where and they will then sort it from there, it may take some time but it will get sorted

I recently used a smelting crucible on a hydrone that had 5.3% abl and nothing happend (I checked through all my hydrones and did not see one with new stats). What's more is that in my inventory I don't actually remember seeing a 5.3% hydrone and had only seen it when clicking through the smelting crucible item menu to smelt the item in question. I had sold a 5.3% abl hydrone a few months back so this could likely be the problem.

I also recently used a crucible on my 2025 amethyst greaves, after using one crucible the greaves roll didn’t change, however after getting one more crucible for some reason I saw two different amethyst greaves rolls when using the crucible, even tho I only ever had one pair of amethyst greaves. One being 0.2 atk(never had this in my inventory) and 7.9 sci the one I currently have.

I then used another crucible on the 0.2 atk roll that didn’t exist assuming that the game glitched and that would be the one I should roll on, however checking back on my amethyst greaves the roll is still the same before I used 2 crucibles, So now I’m down 2 crucibles.

Hey guys - while there is a fix for this issue (showing usable on unused items) Id like to note two things:

Firstly, please accept our honest apology for this issue being possible in the first place. We are fuming about this.

Secondly, this should never have been allowed to affect any player, least of all you who have so generously supported the game's development by making a purchase.

I am focused on confirming and restoring all Crucibles lost this way as we speak - and will be including a bonus by way of an apology.

@fervent cairn 7 spent on reforgers on Cat Carrier that were effected by rerolling a piece of gear by pressing the wrong Use button. From this troubleshooting thread I was working with Kildare below. Unfortunately I lost the pieces side roll that was previously 15.2% ability and now it's down to 10% in attempt to recover it.

im pretty sure my first reroll on the greaves created a "ghost" roll, since selecting in the crucible i had two pair of greaves, which im assuming meant instead of changing the roll of the pants themselves, instead it created a ghost pair which can only been seen when selecting through the crucible

and then using the crucible on the that ghost roll just wasted the 2nd crucible

Its working fine if you very carefully look at what items you have and click through to make sure there isnt two in your interface with the same side roll

Target an item in your inventory first and go find that specific roll and use them

I rolled a giga from 0.3 ATK to 6.4 WPN, i am happy

It sucks i wasted them this morning but props to savy for making it right within hours

When I (@nerakus) tried to click on the smelting item to reroll an items secondary stat, it confirmed if i wanted to use it... then just disappeared, without being able to select an item.

The create support ticket link also, doesnt work and gives me an error.

I used my crucible on a 6.4 WPN Lightdriver only to get a 6.4 WPN Lightdriver...

Either there is some kind of error or bug that ate my crucible, or I am the most unlucky person in PSS. I am going to say it's more than likely an error or bug. Can I get a new crucible?

I also had that happen. Rerolled an item I knew I had (I double checked before rolling as well), ended up with the exact same stat so that might be a bug considering how multiple people seem to be experiencing it

I had two issues with Reforging.
Issue #1 - (this was reported here but in a separate thread that I don't see anymore)
I tried to reforge the item (Giga loader +8 STA in attachment) but its attributes
have not changed. This resulted me in 1 lost crucible.

Issue #2 - later on when I noticed in game the available Reforge button at the item level, I tried it on the same Giga Loader. I kept clicking on Reforge since apparently nothing happened until I gave up and did a force restart.
Then I noticed I have a new Giga Loader with different stat, but all
my remaining reforge items were gone.
Can you restore these item please? I think i should be having at least 8-12 crucibles restored, but maybe you see it in the logs better cause I did not make at that time. My last screenshot is that I still have 12 crucibles left - its attached too.

There's a bug on client currently that's pending update where if u use the Reforge button it won't update the stats of the item after u roll. Are u sure its not coz of that?
