Something is wrong with the Matchmaking in normal PvP

How am i finding a 1.2k Player when i have 5.2k trophies? (This was the first target that was suggested) Surely there has to be a closer match

(This isnt the first time something like this happend i just reported now)

There's only lv restriction there is no trophy restriction in pvp, probably 4 lv gap max something

You aren't taking trophies from them, you just get gas and minerals.

The game isn't giving you difficult opponents at that point. It is giving you ships to grind. Your actual opponents are the 12 ships you fight in LL.

ok now i found this guy while not in ll (4.89k trohpies) so now i am taking trophies and resources.

why are you complaining, these are best for resource farming. if they were removed, farming resources will suddenly take 4x-6x longer. and even worse the market will be starved of resources.

Why? Because if you attack these ships, 95% of the resources you get are generated from the game (league bonus) and you're not stealing anything.

if these are removed, we're back to farming against strong afk ships that take longer, which means fewer resources are generated from the league bonus

Though I do agree that you shouldn't get any trophies if there is a difference of 800 or more trophies between you and the other ahip

because its plain stupid for me to be even getting them. i should be getting higher trophy enemies and they should in turn actually award more resources but this is just depressing

if that's the case, you first ask for more resources from high level/ranked ships and once you got that, you ask for the other thing

you don't start by asking for the removal of the best source of resource first

I don't think loosing a ton in a row can lead to this, I know I've found level 9 ships without loosing.

It's fine if there are a lot of low lv ship, there's no reason to have high lv ship matchup until they give guarantee higher drop on higher lv ship

Yes I observed that. But it’s kinda weird that I am getting hull 8 as hull 13

And it didn’t feel like trophies played like no role when I was lower trophies

Collector is the factor but not the most important one.

If you want to get many resources and stronger opponents

Just go to llpvp

Match mostly 4900+ opponents (in llpvp)

Which at most points has like 300 people that can sustain it. Essentially ll is amazing for top 200-300 but everyone else doesn’t really have that option
