I'm feeling a lot more overwhelmed about buildcrafting than I have in former seasons, mainly because I feel so far behind in every way. No tiered items, everything I have is 10 light, none of the archetypal armor (like grenadier, specialist, etc).

Beyond that, I have no understanding of modern systems like crafting (I have crafted weapons in the past, but few and far between, and I'm fairly certain that system has been tweaked a lot) and stuff. I'd love to give the game a proper try alongside monument of triumph, where do I even begin?
Should I just run old expired builds until I'm up at a good light level so I can get t5 drops?

good start would be to do new campaign to get to 300 light, then honestly just farm frontiers to t5 drops (450 light iirc). From there you should be fine to build whatever you want. Not sure how this will change come Tuesday
