#Sturm drama?

get 1 kill with any sidearm or any weapon with the "together forever" frame (drang or the new rocket sidearm for example) while you have sturm equipped, pull out sturm and any damage caused by you will get a 3.7x increase as long as you are actively holding out sturm
this applies to abilities and even other weapons like heavy GLs if you pull out the weapon before the shots land
some supers don't work with it because you can't hold sturm during them, like golden gun (for obvious reasons) and thundercrash
and i'm pretty sure the same applies to roaming supers (same reasons as goldie) with the exception of song of flame
they somehow coded the "Overcharged shots" from sturm in a way that increases all of the damage you deal, not just sturm's damage
But what would be good? Gathering Storm? Grapple Melee?

grapple melee is by far the best
you can't use 1-2p but it doesn't matter when you can grapple fast
if you're gonna use the sturm bug any ability spam based build is what you should be using
But how could you do it without navigator or 1-2p?
So for Hunters that would prolly be Arc staff
Setup grapple point and then swap to sturm
More like prism with a hoil+synthos class item using combination blow and grapple
There is another build with hunter u can try, mainly for bosses, The Young Ahamkara build, tho u get no survivability, so its only viable with a support warlock or smthin, i was able to solo 1 cycle the ogre boss in grasp with it
I could use it for DPS. I can use my normal build for survivability and then swap to this one
As long as Sturm overcharge can stay when I swap loadouts (assuming it’s in both)

nop. i myself got sturm right after i head about the new "feature"
Verity is now worse than synthos because the buff got lowered to 170% at max stacks (which you are not realistically keeping up as much as synthos) and is now an additive buff for grapple
So if I use navigator to proc grapple point, I need to get the Sturm overcharge stacks from a different loadout?
So 200 grenade is useless now
? No the grenade stat is still a 65% multiplicative buff to grapple's damage

You place the grapple point and then you swap to the Sturm+sidearm loadout
The grapple point doesn't disappear when you swap off of navigator
How long until I disappears?
It lasts 15 seconds afaik and the duration gets refreshed everytime you grapple to it
The refresh becomes shorter and shorter everytime tho

not unless the new loadout doesnt have sturm
all weapon/armor buffs and whatnot are retained between loadout swaps, thats why you can loadout swap and retain buffs
only exceptions are ammo and if the Notswap modifer is active
as long as you can hold the gun while the enemy is hit with the super, it works
well, yeah, but goldie doesnt work
and for something like GStorm or BB, you need to land it while you have sturm out, which can be awkward (esp. for BB)
I heard someone say it got power crept. This true?
yeah if you have any of the old lightweight legendary heavy swords (aka quickfang or goldtusk, any version works) if you have 0 ammo and do a jumping light hit it does ridiculous damage
someone did solo nezarec in 1 hit from full straight to final stand on strand titan
I thought power crept meant it got nerfed (creeping away damage = crept, right?
powercreep is normally associated with something being outshined by something else
like how hezen vengeance outclassed every other legendary rocket in the game when it was reprised
or how lord of wolves outclassed nearly everything in the game when it got its buff in heresy
the bug is the same
the sword bug is just stronger
