How do i get to 300-400?

I am currently at 238 light power, and I've been clocking in my daily shifts at k1 and Caldera with A grade, and I'm only getting +1 or +2 power reward increases each time. is there a faster or more efficient way to do this?

That's basically it, there's no real magic to it. Use one set of gear for grinding, make sure you try to keep it as close as possible to your current highest. Slam those A's w/ as much efficiency as you can.

It gets even slower at 400.

A grade should give you +4 gear till 300 and +3 gear till 400 for every single run. K1/Caldera are the most efficient for levelling

I'd argue that if you have a good team that starcrossed and encore are better+you can get weapons like retrograde

I keep getting only +1 and rarely +2 weapon and armor pieces per run

When do I start getting higher tier armor?

Loot tier depends on your light level (tier 3s will become the norm from 300 light with occasional tier 4s, then from 400 tier 4s become the norm with occasional tier 5s and so on)

And from what I understand the tiers of some sources of loot are also dependant on your guardian rank, like weapons/armor bought from event vendors

Let's clarify between power level and tiers. Below 300, every portal ops completion will give you a gear 4 power higher than your current, this reduces to +3 between 300 and 400. You get occasional tier4 from 300-350, more often from 350-400 and regularly after 400

After 400, you have a 5% chance of getting a higher power (+3) gear which is always tier5. This chance increases if you're in a clan with rank 4 or higher

If you're getting +1 or +2, you may not be setting up your portal ops optimally. Please check if projected rating is B+ or A. New gear gives you a better score compared to pre-EoF
