Hey guys I was wonderin' if I could pick somebody's brain about somethin' here.
I have been leveling up at a steady pace, haven't had any problems till I played with a friend who was I wanna say like 50 levels above me. We did some Master Ops with him as the leader and he set to be a projected A.
We went in, went through it relatively quickly and for some reason I only got C level drops even though it raised me to be his level within the activity. I had been getting tier 3/4 drops and now it's been tier 2.
I did some research and saw some folks were dealing with the same thing.
I didn't really have a good solve, so I did solo ops after we finished playing together after dealing with the same thing. I did the Caldera one and my drops were fine.
Then today I go to do K1 Logistics and did both the bonus objective and got through it quickly with like 3 minutes to spare, and I'm getting nothing but Tier 1 and tier 2 drops. Even double checked my modifiers and it had me projected as an full on A but I was getting Cs? Like, hat is happening?
Are my loot drops all messed up because I played with my friend?

Just because your friend gets A doesnt mean you will. If he has a full set of T5 gear and is listed at A you def wont get A if you dont at least have T4 gear. You have to always wear ur max light gear even when playing with friends for your own score multiplier.

Solstice gear drops 1 tier higher than whatever engram you have forecasted. If your drops are too low, your're probably doing the wrong difficulty of activity for your light level.

So, I'm wearing a full T4 Solstice set. To reiterate, I went into the K1 Logistics Solo Ops today wearing that set, with my projected score being an A. I even added an additional modifier after the fact to just fully make sure it would remain at an A.

I did both the bonus objective of killing combatants and finished the activity with about a minute to spare. I got a low B. What am I doing wrong in the Solo Ops?
I did these activities on Master at 320 power
I am triple checking before I go in there because this was not a problem a few days ago.
