Hello, I recently came back to destiny after a long break. The last time I played was just before season of the wish ended, before the final shapes release. I logged on and it seems armor stats were changed. Are all of my old builds and armor just useless now?

They changed a lot about armor: set bonuses; archetypes determining the two main stat spikes (third one random); stat changes + being able to level them up to 200. Your old armor will be good enough until you will be able to get new and better armor easily anyway

I see, thank you for the answer. I assume dungeons will still be the best source of high stat armor after im done with the campaigns right?

Now armor (and weapons) drops in tiers (1-5) from the portal. More difficult activities there drop better loot

I'll rephrase that slightly. All new gear has tiers, but portal is a better way to farm it
