Hi I'm kinda new to destiny 2 i have been on and off the game constantly bc i just get overwhelmed whit what to do, build and just everything. I dont really have a clue on what to start doing and how to get max level and i also have no clue on what guns to use and what even exotics are useful.

go to "unknown space", go to "rite of the nine" and pick up the free gear bundle there
gives instant max PL gear
after that, play through the witch queen, lightfall, and final shape campaigns on Legendary difficulty, each of which gives you a choice between 2 strong exotics
