Hey guys, I'm on a prislock bleak watcher devour and basically all of my kills come from rimecoat raiment shatters and bleak watchers. I run choir+ lost signal, but most of the time I only use choir for champions or yellow bars and I can never fill up my light transcendent bar.

Y'all got any good light weapons to fill up transcendence bar faster? Rimecoat kind of just kills everything and it's not worth to shoot choir at adds that I can just shoot lost signal into

You can't use choir and another non heavy weapon that deals light damage

The only weapon in the kinetic slot that deals light damage is conditional and that's also an exotic

Honestly op just stop using choir of one. There's better uses for your exotic slot

Run the new area denial from this season, it'll give you hella light energy

And choose a different exotic to use

If you dont want to swap off choir then basically your only choice is to use a light energy heavy LMG

So instead of a LMG you're just suggesting a sword instead

And telling them to outright swap off choir one for dps anyways

One of the best loadouts for most content atm is tian sidearm, LoW and a sword

Slayer is taking the "use a LMG" way too seriously. It's the only choice left if they're aren't switching off choir. They're asking for ways to generate light energy, which means choir is simply not getting it done. The only other choice is to use an lmg

There's nothing wrong with using an lmg

Lmgs have fantastic synergy with the artifact this season

Using an lmg will actually benefit them quite a bit because of the dmg resist and ability regen

It should synergise very very well with this bleak watcher build op is using

Devour for heals, and HAO for dmg resist and ability regen

The build op is running actually has the potential to be a very potent build

Devour and dmg resist would make them nigh unkillable, paired with bleak watcher spam to freeze everything

Why not

Bleak watcher builds are very potent in high level activities, where getting one shot or insta beamed is on the regular, dmg resist would be very useful in that regard

Devour is useless if you get one shot or insta beamed

Guess how most deaths in GM's happen

Getting shot at happens in every single activity in the game
