How many times do I have to run the weekly exotic quest (presage) to get all of the upgrades?

Hello! I just completed presage (expert) for the first time and got dmt and the catalyst. How many more times do I have to run it or the other weekly exotic quests to get all of the upgrades? Does it have to be on expert or is normal fine to unlock everything specifically for dmt?

From my understanding it's 5 completions but I don't know if the difficulty matters.

Difficulty doesn't matter outside of the catalyst for DMT. Don't remember how many clears you need, just run it a few more times and check if you have all stocks / mags and cranial spiker at the highest rank at the crafting table

is that the same for every exotic quest? I thought you had to upgrade the catalyst 4 times or whatever

what you upgrade is the weapon intrinsic, which determines what parts/perks of the gun you can change

oh ok so the catalyst is one run on expert and then the further completions are for the intrinsic upgrades

the catalyst is still only 1, another customizable part is the "extra perk" you get by completing expert mode

in dmt's case you don't need to get them from expert mode

same for every exotic mission that isn't presage, zero hour and whisper (there are quests for both of these)

Ok so for presage I have done it on expert once, the rest I can do on normal to get the other 3 intrinsic upgrades

for Vox obsucra I have done it on expert and there is only one catalyst so I don't have to do it again on expert I can just play on normal to get the intrinsic upgrades

and for seraph shield? that weapon has 4 catalysts, how many times do I have to do that one?

oh no you have to play expert for the extra perks

consider the extra perks as added catalysts

but you can only choose one of them
