My friend got his account hijacked somehow and I think it’s through cross save, as he keeps getting WEASELED every time he hops on. We checked cross saves and noticed that an Xbox account is linked….even though he has never had an Xbox or made an account for it.

But we can’t deactivate cross save as you need to authenticate all of the accounts…but one of them is the hacker and we can’t authentic them. What do we do?

Hello, I am the friend in question. My Steam account was previously hacked, but I was able to recover it eventually. However, when I tried to log onto Destiny 2, I noticed my account had been completely highjacked. Someone had somehow linked their phony Xbox account to my Bungie profile.
The Epic and Steam accounts belong to me, but the Xbox one does not. I tried to unlink it in Crosssave, but it requires me to have login knowledge of the phony Xbox account in question, which I obviously do not have. I don't know what to do. Please, someone help.
I did manage to get the account name of the potential culprit, if it helps at all. Their name is Caru#9401.
