I've been trying to find this for a while now, and waiting to see if anyone has had a published answer for it, but couldnt find anything on it.

For sanguine alchemy, Im trying to figure out if a Prismatic Nova dps roation or a solar well rotation is going to be stronger.
Prismatic has more modifiers with Transcendence + Weaken + Facet of Courage on top of Edge Transit, but solar has whisper + Well. Anyone have a concrete answer?

yes you can, the surges depend on your super ability's element, not the subclass element

btw on prism you still have access to radiant albeit on a shorter duration if you don't keep using your melee ability (facet of dawn gives 5 seconds or radiant on melee hit)
