Well, tbf, there have been no Shotgun buffs PVE wise and no Anti-Champ mods for em. Conditional is incredibly popular for two reasons, it's damage output and the fact it counters Unstops

Sorry, 'noticeable' PVE buffs, that 40% is pretty damn solid on Slugs

#

You'll probably see more shotguns especially slugs being used now that Anti-Barrier exists

If Anti-Barrier wasn't in play, then ya, I wouldn't be recommending heritage

Yep, it's also why Wicked Implement the Stasis Exotic Scout can't get anti-barrier from the mods

True, but Chill Clip is a perk, and that's usually on legendary weapons

Yep, every repeated ignition does 40% less damage. So at around 5 Ignitions you're doing around 2.5% of your ignition damage

Well, at least Jolt isn't broken. If Jolt did 40% less damage each tick I'd throw Destiny 2 out the nearest window

I still find that 2.5% ignition damage to be hilarious. hitting 400 damage from Conditional just seemed really funny to me

These are the top five most relevant probably. (As in they have uses in the widest content with only a same level or lower power option)

some of these do have alternatives outside of raids tho so probably not the best overall list

gm's really like high ammo econ weapons so things like rockets reign supreme. But for boss burst dps hgl's are very good

Forb isnt really relevant enough to put in top 5 anymore tbh, rocket sidearms does its role so much better and even if you did want an ad clear bgl martyrs is like 10x better overall
