Does doing Nightfalls and GM NF count as strikes for catalysts to drop? Do they have higher chances due to the increase in difficulty? I am trying to get the Sunshot Catalyst and on it it says Strikes and Crucible drop

does clearing out existing catalysts etc have any higher chances of it dropping or is it 100% rng? @warm creek

like if you have 26 unfinished catalysts that'd mean getting a new one would be close to impossible, but it's not

ok. coz i have a bunch of catalysts that need to be done so I was wondering about that and read somewhere about this effecting the RNG. seems like it doesnt. thx

It’s mostly anecdotal. People end up doing those ritual activities while getting kills for the catalysts so the drops line up.
