#What to farm If I want to get into raids?

Rn I'm doing missions to get Rank 5 and start LFGs, but I have horrible loot, with just the gift of the thundergods items, what should I farm to get good weapons to start raiding?

Onslaught is a good place to start. It will give Succession, Edge Transit, Forbearance and some other good weapons. The ones I named would probably be most useful in Raids.

The Whisper exotic mission also drops Whisper of the Worm heavy sniper, which is good for some Raids.

Izanagi's Burden primary slot sniper can be acquired from Monument to Lost Lights next to your Vault at the Tower.

The Season of the Wish story campaign also has Wish Tokens drop at a certain point. I used 5 of the Wish Tokens to complete craft patterns for the Apex Predator, one of the best Rocket Launchers on the game.

For Apex P, Reconstruction + Bait n Switch is the prob most common perk combo. Please note: you might have to complete the intro to Witch Queen dlc to unlock crafting first.

Also make sure you have Tractor Cannon and Thunderlord (you should be able to get the latter from the thundergod gift). Also, cannot remember how you get it but Arbalest is good for Barrier champions.

All the weapons I've named should be a good start for you to be able to contribute in Raids.

It won't let me post links here but Datto has video on YT "how to do Raid DPS/Damage and Mactics has a video "best Crota's End loadouts", which both include lots of weapon recommendations

additionally you can get a few exotics from Xur every week for legendary shards

#

for actual DPS weapons, as the post above said, just get crafting unlocked and then you can get crafting

Seasonal content drops red borders for some very good weapons

honestly as long as u have a decent sherpa u shouldnt need to worry too much about what ur running in a 1600 raid

but a crafted apex predator or a good edge transit are great

#

if you really have nothing else then thunderlord at least gets the job done despite how much of a meme it is (dont choose it over a rocket though)
