How viable are trace rifles in raids?

Traces are fine in raids, you really only use them for shoot to loot and hitting mechanics like the nodes in ron

If anything I'd say use an smg or maybe a hc like zaoulis or sunshot

Not to say that you just shouldn't use Traces in raids, but you get very good clearing value out of them

I did put incandescent on retraced path, and it's helping a lot. Im just not sure it's up to par with other ad clear options

Any currently unlockable energy slot special weapons worth getting for this that might do better than RP? Non raid craftables

if you're talking in general special weapons that arent traces, ikelos shotgun and loaded question arent terrible

Shotguns are actually kinda nice for ad clear or clearing yellow bars

You can one shot the colossus in exp if you get surrounded to proc on imperial decree

I use my shotty for yellow bars and bosses. My energy has always been adclear

Unless you're teammates are just really good at being dead than alive then you'll likely never need to assume a strong support role

like kill clip but it heals you instead of bonus damage

it's a worse unrelenting imo. you only make it good by extending the buff with solar weapons&subclass

It'll be buffed to cure x2 sometime in the future player side, but remain cure x1 for allies

The benefit I theorize for heal clip is it increasing ability recharge by more reliably triggering benevolence. It's more ability uptime, adclear, and personal survivability in one fragment and an energy slot.
