Its really not that good. Ik its boring but using synthos with banner of war is just better than suspend
And if you have the gotd exotic, that helps too.
You just use banner of war, into the fray
Melee, throw tangle, get woven mail, kill things with adclear weapons and keep banner of war up
When you gotta do some dps you use your melees, when you run out, use your grapple melees.

Sadly I dont have that. Maybe thats why the synthos build feels so lackluster but if that is the case there isnt much I can do bc I dont have the dungeon key,

Its not entirely necessary. If you run out of melees you can always super and it works fine. Maybe even better.

It's just so many people on were saying it was better than warlock sunbracers but it dosnt feel like it. the build isnt bad its just not what I expected so I kinda grinded for nothing

Well sunbracers relies on having an ad low enough to melee kill which isnt always feasable in hard content
Strand has no such barrier in high end content

You have to use a specific combo with the Super + Tractor Cannon and BoW gets majority of its best damage (and healing) from x4
Not that it can't be used without x4 but you won't be doing any crazy damage (though still pretty high even with x2 or x3)
GoTD exotic is only useful because it's catalyst provides a free Grapple Point, allowing you to use your Grapple Grenade Melee over and over for about 30s
(Grapple Melee also has damage on par with or even above your Super at x4 Banner)

When you use synthos, are you pairing it with banner of war? Do you use a 1-2 punch shotgun? Do you use tractor for more damage or monte carlo for more melees?
Whenever you use banner of war for damage, do you have x4 stacked up? Or are you always going in with only 1x or 2x?
Do you have synthos procced when doing damage? Or if youre using wormgod: do you have max stacks of wormgods?

Bow 1-2 punch but I dont really need to use tractor atm bc im not doing raids or anything so they all die pretty fast

they both have different use cases
banner of war titan is for high single target damage while sunbracers is primarily for insane ad clear
the only way to really use strand titan for ad clear is using navigator to place a grapple point and then spamming grapple melees on ads
