I would also use igneous over epochal
Epochal feels like a stepping stone gun for people that dont have the best option

the thing about epochal that makes it really good is the origin trait giving it +20 handling and reload speed and free vorpal weapon if you’re running weapons from the same set

and conditional finality is part of that set

so you can pair it with conditional and a heavy weapon from that set and get crazy stats along with top tier perks with keep away and eye of the storm

and with keep away proced you got 64 range which is okay
