I've seen people running around with triple 100´s, never a quad. I myself got 2 100 out of pure luck for my hunter, mobility and resilience.

I did some research how this works and I just want to smoothen it out for myself by asking here.

As I understood, some exotic mods have inherent stats focusing on its strengths.

Is it still possible to get at least triple 100, let's say, liars's handshake by going mobility, **resilience **and **discipline **even if it focuses on strength?

**Intellect **being the 4th and least important stat I'd need for my gameplay.

For legendary armor, if you focus on recovery, do you get better stats for the two above? And if you focus for mobility

do you get strength and intellect? I know that there are 2 branches, top 3 and bottom 3 being separated.

And finally, for the triple, do I need artifice armor or can I simply do fine with engrams armors?

focus a stat in the opposite branch for spikey sets, focusing in the same branch is bad
recommend rolling engram armor due to speed/ease
get an artifice class item as a minimum, send master dungeons here and there

@supple jay Armor has two stat pools it can spike in

  • Mob, Res, Rec
  • Disc, Str, Int

If your going for let's say Mobility, Resilience and Discipline, you'd put a Discipline Armorer mod on your ghost so can for sure spike in Discipline and your other pool is a 2/3 chance to get a good spike in either.

As it stands, I don't think quad 100 is super needed unless you wanted to be top tier elitist. Triple (and even Double) 100 is standard for like 95% of content

But it is possible, just need super exact Stats to achieve it.

All That being said though, Artifice is definitely not worth the grind as you can end up with pieces that have really low totals since they removed the stat minimums for Artifice gear

Seasonal Vendor Armor focusing is the best way to get high stat gear right now with seasonal engrams being abundant this season in particular.

The only thing you'd really want to Artifice is your class item since it doesn't have any stats to roll on so the extra +3 is nice
