My friend does not have the armor synthesis intro quest

My friend is a new light titan and he has talked to ada and banshee but he still hasnt gotten the introduction quest for armor synthesis

he has done all the new light quests on his titan but he did first make a warlock but didnt like it so he made a titan and hasnt done all the new light stuff on the warlock

i think you may need to unlock europa first, but not 100% sure

Did he do the first mission from Beyond Light campaign
