Quick question, just played a trials match and had a plethora of nasty abuse thrown at me, after blocking the individual they messaged on xbox the same abuse

( only with xbox blocking a profile doesn't prevent them from messaging you) After about 15 messages I comment something like p*** ***

p*** o##and even though they said far worse things I was the one who got a comm ban. When that happened my destiny chat stopped working as well

#

my question is there a way to bypass this and continue using text chat to join players or am I royally screwed until the ban is lifted

did you report the player as well as block them?

tbh i rarely use text chat in game, just run through discord for a while until your unbanned, also jackasses be jackasses best to ignore

Agreed, just not sure if I can join or get invited at all

Are you able to send a game inv or has it blocked that?
