New player, I bought Legacy pack, should I buy lightfall?

you're mainly paying for strand which is only really good for 2 classes

i would get it with the pass, the dungeon is nice, and there is another coming. ron has good weapons and despite everyone hating it imo its kinda fun in its simplicity

one suggestion i can give is search lightfall should i buy in youtube, you will get better response

TLDR: large part of community not satifsfied with lightfall unlike forsaken or witchqueen DLCs
so hoping final shape will be salvation to it

Story campaign for lightfall was awful, root was an ok raid but it wasent as challenging as last wish and vow

what is GOTD? and i have a 2nd question when looking at eapons as a new player whats more important the stats or the power lvl

like if its a rile or a piece of gear with worse mobility and recovery but it increases my power lvl should i still use it? my class is hunter

just dont dismantle it, as long as you have it in your inventory or vault you will get drops higher than it

and only at the very end (1790/1800+) does it matter what your actual LL is

no, just keep your highest LL piece in each slot, the rest can go
LL= Light Level, aka your power lvl

slot is Helmet, Arms, Chest, Legs, Classitem, Kinetic, Energy and Power weapon, so the highest lvl in those keep

and if you have a good roll, keep that too

keep it, but use your better stat thing

at your current lvl your play lvl doesnt matter (the stuff you have equipped). but its important to keep the high LL piece so your average highest possible (which the game uses to calculate your drops LL) goes up

tldr, use your stats piece, keep the other so you get higher LL stuff

You can always increase a weapon or armor power level to max. Stats are always more important than power level. Did you pick your three Forsaken exotic weapons yet?

costs an upgrade module, which you can buy from banshee, a vendor in the tower. you can only upgrade legendary and exotic gear though

That's normal. Grind for legendary gear is pretty easy now. Only grind for exotic armor, specifically with good stat rolls, can be tedious

i paid $30 for the legacy pack

Legacy campaigns will give you same drops available in world drops except for specific camping gear like Shadow keep Moon Armor

When it comes to armor all that matters is its stat rolls. While "ideal" stat spreads differ between character classes, until you're more versed in determining stat, any armor with 60+ you should keep

For weapons its trickier. 1) Certain weapons are usually just trash like 360rpm Autorifles. While I like some of them and they can get good perks they're not really Ideal in todays meta.

2. Perks. Even good weapons can suck if they don't have the right weapon perks

i accdently destroyed all of my dreambane pieces and i did the scarlet

keep mission 3 times and the 1st time i got 2 dreambane pieces but after that i havent

you have to get the essence of [whatever] which drops a guaranteed armor piece

there are 3 different missions and the campaign gave you 2 pieces already so do all 3 different missions and the other 2 pieces should be at lectern or eris

Check the table for the coloured essences. 5 of those drop the armor
