for most guns you can go into a boss and see how much dmg you get in one phase but depends what you want really

yeah load into an encounter where u got a boss. shoot him with botth guns and wipe (kill yourself) and it should show the damage dealt

malfy will very likely be better though, as i dont think the 2 hits count for 2 shots from wardens

i dont believe in aztecross's dmg testing but it performed better bc of 4th times
