Do ritual activity engrams actually not carry over seasons?

that was for last season, for this season they said they were gonna wipe all non season vendor engrams

yeah in one of the more recent twabs they state that only seasonal vendor engrams would stick around (and maybe trials?), but the ritual ones would be reset

I was able to find it finally, from a tweet on the main account on the 16th. Supposedly iron banner engrams were staying
